Lets Get More Personal
Likes: Winter, I spy, Memory card games, singing, laughing Dislikes: School, gods, half-monsters, Jocks, basketball Personality: Crispen is the kind of guy that will question anything that he doesn't completely believe in; if it seems doubtful to him, he'll try to prove it wrong. Crispen is quite friendly to everyone except turtley football jocks. He especially doesn't like the gods, but the olympians imparticular since he is the son of a titan. His least favorite olympians are Zeus - being the king of the gods, Ares - He's turtley and arrogant, and the CHILDREN of Aphrodite - because all they think about is themselves and how they looks. Being the son of the Titaness of memory he tends to like to play multiple games that involve your memory. When around his friends Cripsen laughs all the time and is usually in a good mood. The only time he's really in a bad mood is when the gods who work at the institute pick on him for being the son of a titan or when a demi-god gets on his nerves. Crispen is generally nice, but has his moments when in an argument. His favorite habbit other than messing with others' memories is sleeping. Crispen is very protective of his friends; if somebody insults them or threatens them, he's there in an instant to help out. His favorite hobbies are hanging with friends, running, climbing trees, and flirting with girls. When it comes to girls he isn't exactly what some people would call 'smooth'. If somebody finds out about how his dad cheated on his step-mother and calls him unfaithful...They'll be sorry that they did. Other than his friends, family is his second most important priority. History: Lance’s father, a handsome and very kind medic/doctor named, Hank was from the island of present day Crete. He was a married man and lived a simple life with Julie Cail. The two had met at a festival and had immediate attractions for each other. They weren’t poor but they refused to live in lives of luxuries. Still the pair never seemed to mind and was happy with working hard. They had two children, a son named Myer and a daughter, named Leila. The couple instilled the same values of hard work and perseverance in their children.
One day, while Hank was out doing farm work, he stumbled upon a woman relaxing underneath a palm tree out by the beach. He was about to turn and leave the woman but she seemed to have known he was there, and so called for him to come over. Skeptical at first, he eventually gave in when he noticed her friendly smile and kind eyes.
The woman then decided to show him around the beach, revealing marvelous wonders and unseen areas even he had never seen before, despite that he had been living there all his life. She continued to show up on the beach and Hank continued seeing her, soon growing smitten with her. Eventually, he discovered the woman was pregnant with a son and the woman revealed herself to be Mnemosyne, the Greek titaness of Memory. Although stunned, he believed her, surprising. He had always had a feeling that she was different.
It was then, he realized what a horrible mistake he had made. He loved his family but he loved Mnemosyne as well. She explained to him everything about what he needed to ready her son for his trip to Half-blood academy, a safe haven for all children of greek gods and titans. Before she left, she told Hank to not blame himself, and that it was her fault. They shared one last kiss and parted ways.
Julia was thrilled to have another child on the way, though she was unaware that the child she thought they were 'adopting' was actually Hank's child and her step-son. The last month of Mnemosyne pregnancy, he couldn’t take it any longer, and so he told her that he had, in fact, cheated on her with the Titaness. Julia cried in disbelief, anguish, and rage but after a while accepted the facts, for she knew Hank would never lie to her. She promised that she’d still mother his third child, something he will always be grateful for.
Hank and Julia named their newly born son, Crispen. Together, the family raised Crispen into a good-natured boy. He attended school, like his half-siblings, but had a hard time concentrating and reading. That was when he discovered he had ADHD and dyslexia. He made friends easily but was bullied from time to time resulting in an inferiority complex. He continued to try to please his family though.
One day, at the age of 9, Hank was attacked by a bird creature at his school, but with the help of a boy named Mason, they drove the creature away. Immediately afterwards, a hologrpahic brain shaped from condenced appeared over young Crispen’s head. Mason explained that he had just been claimed by his mother, Mnemosyne, much to the young boy’s confusion. Crispen agreed to take Mason to his home so that they may speak to Hank. Mason urged Hank to tell Crispen the truth, despite his age. He grudgingly did so but with the rest of the family present as well. Crispen’s siblings were shocked at this and thought of it as a joke, but when Mason revealed himself to be a satyr, they could only stare in awe and wonder at having a younger, demi-titan brother. Crispen, himself couldn’t believe what he was hearing but noting that his father was the most serious he has ever been in his life, he could do nothing but believe it to be the truth.
Mason insisted on bringing Crispen to Halfblood Academy so that Crispen may be safe. The family agreed and with promises to keep in touch, Crispen was on his way to a new school. He was introduced to everyone there as well as his bunk mates. Eventually, he grew to like the school very much but misses his home often and writes letters every now and then.
He cared for his step-mother and half-siblings very much. He is naturally talented with remembering things, memory games, and other sports but always strives to do better by pushing himself to his limits. Crispen does so in hopes that his mother will one day notice his efforts. Abilities: *Seeing memories - He has an ability to see a person's memories. *Altering Memories- He can also alter memories of people. Change the way the target remembers or perceives things *Erasing Memories- He simply makes them forget. But only portions of a person's memory even doing a that is straining. *Excellent memory- He can remember anything and bring it up whenever necessary. *Projecting memories- He can make a person memories appear in the physical world. It's more like a movie since he can't alter anything about these memories when he projects them. Weaknesses: - Power Draining: Although his more powerful attributes are strong, they can be hard to use. He can't just go around using them willy-nilly. In order to erase a memory, he needs to be close to the person, they have to be mortal (unless they are a demi-god/titan that willingly lets him erase their memories), and/or they can't be one of his siblings or a immortal. Another thing that limits his power is that he isn't able to erase memories of people permanetly. They only forget about them for about a day, and then the next day they'll have a full recovery of memory as if nothing happened. He is no way as powerful as his mother who can permanetly erase memories and anger people. His powers are more of a prank time-period. He can't make people forget large memories such as their names, their past, or their family. Only small, unimportant things. - Knows no bounds: Whenever he sees a juicy or mysterious memory he is truly interested about and wants to help with, he'll confront the people he saw it from. - Control: His powers can go out of wack sometimes. If he isn't paying attention and he's arguing with somebody and he gets so angry that he wants to just forget about it. Only problem is sometimes he doesn't forget the fight, the other person does. There're other various problems of control with his powers. - Anger issues: Crispen gets mad quite easy sometimes. At times he forgets his place and argues with the instructors. But the most common ones are the divine instructors. - Close Combat. Other Information: A set of arrows that when impact with the ground a circle of magic will be released that erases random memories of those within a hundred foot radius. He rarely uses them however because of how unpredictable they are, and he was given a small set.

Hello. Welcome to Half Blood Academy. I read your bio and everything looks great. However, I need to have two things modified about it first before put this application in the Accepted Characters Section. 1. Can you add about 5 sentences more to his personality? It's too brief. 2. Can you add to his weaknesses a couple of lines regarding limitations of his power? I know you said that those abilities are draining, but maybe you can specify there for how long will his power over that person last? For example, if Crispen altered a memory or made someone forget something, will that condition be permanent or will it only last for a certain amount of time? In a way, this ability is some form of mind-control and can be powerful enough to cause wars, so I need a limitation on this. Overall though, I think your bio is awesome! ;D After you made those changes, I'll look over it again and see if everything is ok enough to accept it.
