As the silence in the air stirred on, a dark blue-almost black and silver lined fog begin to seep around a particular area within the CourtYard. Licking and churning as it started to solidify, features of a person starting to show until finally- standing in the middle of it all was a woman. This woman had soft, creamy white colored skin that was as pale as the moon- but seemed softer then the word itself. Smoothen and without a wrinkle in sight. Her age could not be identified, but her gaze was filled with more wisdom and knowledge then most would know in a lifetime. Her eyes, an ever changing color as they melted between deep greens to soft blues, a color unidentified that didn’t have a name sometimes flittered across her irises. Mysterious. Her hair was as dark and black as the night, giving off a slight shine to even the dimmest of light. Cut no further then just below the ear, but elegant in a matter of ways.
She wore a deep blue dress that seemed as if it had been cut straight out of the night sky and sewn. Extravagant stars (real ones) glimmering across the night’s sky as they clung to her. The long sleeves of the dress cut off, revealing her shoulders but were held by straps no bigger then two fingers along the piece just over the tips of her shoulders. The dress seemed to be an odd type of fabric, which flowed and moved when she moved, clung but loose as it went further down the hemline. Fitting across her features evenly.
The name most knew her by was Nyx. She was the Goddess of Night, and was also Night Personified. She had agreed to help with anything she could when Pontos had offered. From the simplest of tasks of teaching classes, to the knowledge of what her years had given her.The night before she had been in amongst the stars in her natural form, realigning the prophetic stars and changing the directions of chemical particals from space that had decided to come her way. (much like what November said), Everything was going as planned until she started to actually read what the stars were trying to tell her, a message from Pontos no less. And here she was now back in the present.
Looking across the array of students, she found none familiar. Subconsciously she was looking for her daughter November. She had only gotten to see her a couple of times, and that was without her knowing. Closing her eyes, she took a small breath, physically she was still standing there, but in her thoughts she was scanning across the campus. She searched all outside before finding her daughter asleep in her dorm. Sighing in relief as she reopened her eyes. Glad to know November was safe.
Nyx refocused her eyes on the students, wondering if there were any questions floating about that they wanted to know. She was always willing to help others in her own little ways, it was something to do rather then order the stars around and prevent natural desasters. She giggled at the thoughts and searched around for nothing in particular to do. HeadMaster Pontos hadn't assigned her her own classroom to teach yet, so she felt the need to wander and explore the campus. Passing the archery range, the forge, battlegrounds, arena, and anything she could basically find before ariving at the swimming and boating lake. Looking around she wondered if anyone were close by to see her, shrugging at the thought. So what? Goddesses weren't aloud to put their feet in the water? she thought in protest. Slipping her feet out of her shoes before sitting and dipping them into the cold water.
As time passed she let herself think, wondering about the upcoming war that might come between everyone and her sister. Feeling a solemn expression fall across her features as she fell deeper in thought. She truly hated the thought of her family being hurt or put to sleep as it were. Even if it meant that it would save the world from destruction. It was like betraying someone you loved for something that could be reborn in time! But she was just giving herself excuses to not fight, some thought it cowardly and though she could probably put her sister back to sleep, she didn’t know if she had it in her.
Turning her questions over and over in her mind she finally pushed them away, focusing her attention on the water. She let herself breathe in and out evenly, twilight slowly overshadowing the sky. Her favorite time of night, the part she created for selfish reasons and grinned as she overviewed her memories. She watched as some of the Staff walked pass her. She looked at them through her peripherals; some were staring at her with disgust, some with awe and some with curiosity. She turned to meet their gaze but they all turned away and pretended to be occupied with other things. She felt a small grin shape her features and looked away. A pair of foot steps being heard from somewhere behind her.
"Hello.." She said in a soft tone, greeting the person without looking at them.
