Moya was missing and Freya was honestly growing a bit worried for him. He was still a cub and too young to be off on his own. She feared that he may have strayed off the Academy grounds by himself. The daughter of Alecto looked to the sky momentarily; it was already late in the night and she had been searching for Moya since late afternoon, the sun having already started to dip below the horizon. Freya sighed, frustrated and having second thoughts about having the Red Panda sent over. Her father had thought it’d help her relax to send Moya or Sable over, after reading her previous letter, which was uncharacteristically filled with vulgar language and heated comments about recent events at the academy. She had agreed and thought that it, too, would help ease her mind as of late; so she requested to have him send the red panda. He had actually arrived at the school this same morning, but had now gone missing when she had carelessly taken a moment to threaten some demigod who had taken the liberty of taking a shot at her for having a monster mother.
She had already gone through most of the areas of the campus, Moya nowhere in sight. She regretted not having kept a closer watch on him. But he was still young so she couldn’t blame him for having a tendency to be curious of new surroundings. And thus wander off when she took her watchful eye off him for a second. Freya then realized how silly she sounded; like a mother trying to find her child who refuses to be found in a game of hide and seek. Heh, imagine if someone saw me so distressed at this moment. I’d never live it down. But the uneasiness was eating at her and Freya could hardly hide that anxiety.
She ended up circling the campus a couple of times and ended once more at the gardens, which was the most likely place for a creature like Moya to be at. Without the light from the moon, finding the creature would have been much harder, but thankfully it was a clear and cloudless sky so she could see perfectly. She noted how the moonlight bathed the plants and flowers in a beautiful glow of silver-blue; a strangely soothing sight for Freya’s troubled mind. “He couldn’t have gone far,” Freya breathed, rationality exceeding her worry. Sure she was concerned, but Moya was rather smart for a cub and could fend for himself. She just didn’t want anyone else finding him and doing anything to him. “I just have to keep searching.” And so she did just that. She spent a great deal, searching every inch of the gardens, her mind fixated on her task so much that she hadn’t realize that someone nearby.

Word Count: 473 Muse: Less Than Moderate Notes: Hope you can work with this. ^^; If you want, they could be searching for Moja for a bit so it gives you something to work with. Feel free to throw other ideas you may have. Tags: Ventus
