Lets Get More Personal
Likes: - Being alone - Fighting - Cutting things - Mystery - Challenges - Himself - Occasional corruption - People who know how to think for themselves
Dislikes: - People - Cute things - America - Being cornered - Daytime - Just about everything
Personality: He doesn’t seem like an approachable person and he isn’t. Get too close and Eliot will cut you up to ribbons. He loathes being near people and so tends to steer clear of anything that pretty much has a pulse. He is the anti-social kid and hates dealing with people. When upset, expect no mercy. If he is ever in a good mood, then all most people will leave with is a nasty bruise.
The thing he enjoys doing most is cutting. His mother, being the Fate that cuts the threads of life, inherited that power, being able to cut through almost anything if he put his mind to it. He never uses his power to try and harm other beings even though he often feels like it. He is strong and able to control hi emotions, talks very little, and prefers to do his own thing.
Eliot assumes he will never be understood and so has long given up on trying to make friends. He hates seeing people all cuddly with each other and despises the idea of friendship. If anyone ever is lucky enough to see past his bitter exterior, they would find a pained and lonely young man.
History: Henry Mikhail grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia, an ancient city with a significant historical background. He grew up in a poor family but managed to climb his way up the ladder and became one of Russia’s most prominent men. Through his work, he met Audrey, a mysterious woman of high-renown in the business world. After a few meetings, the two courted for several years.
Audrey left without a word, and that devastated Henry. He went on with his life, Audrey still on his mind until he met Lucia [Lev] Kingsley, a beautiful, compassionate, wealthy Russian woman who had a name change when she had visited America. The two grew to love each other and married. A year or so passed after their marriage when a baby was left at their front door, with a note attached to the cradle. It was from Audrey, explaining that the baby was Henry’s son, and that Audrey, herself, was the Greek Goddess Atropos, one of the 3 Fates. She left information about a demigod school and how he’ll need to be sent there as soon as he was old enough. Henry disregarded this as a lie but took in his son anyway, and named him Eliot. Lucia, however, believed the words of the goddess.
Henry and Lucia raised the boy together, Lucia treating him as her own son. Henry, to a lesser extent. Even though Henry was happy with Lucia, he still thought of Audrey often and drank and smoke in an attempt to forget her. One day, he went too far and drove drunk, driving into a tree and killing himself. Lucia raised her step-son Eliot by herself. Inheriting all of Henry’s assets, she managed to juggle her work and raise her son.
Eliot grew up strong and somewhat detached from people, all except his step-mother. He took her surname out of love for her and did everything to please her. As he grew up he learned he had dyslexia and ADHD, which frustrated him greatly. Eventually he accepted it and tried to continue on with his life. One day Eliot [age 10] was attacked by a monster, a large cut to his back but fortunately, managing to get away with his life. A strange symbol appeared over his head a day after that encounter. The monster encounters happened several times until he finally [age 12] turned to his step-mother for answers. She explained everything, from hi parentage, to the reason his father died, to where he must now go to be safe. He grew angry at his father and told his mother he will leave right away. She set him up with a ride to America and after a few weeks, Eliot left home.
But he didn’t leave for America and instead wandered around Russia for 2 years, In those two years, he worked temporary jobs and developed a passive, bitter view on life. He grew hateful for his father and resented his immortal mother. One day he was mugged and was nearly killed in an alleyway. In one last desperate attempt to save himself, he used a length of rope he found and tried to choke the man. The rope cleanly passed through the man’s neck, bone an all, the head and body rolling onto the pavement. Eliot was horrified at first, grew perplexed...and smiled. He had felt good doing that. He felt in power.
A satyr named Tevin found him that moment and explained he had to escort him to HBA immediately. No other option and figuring the Russian government would try to track him down, he agreed. Ever since arriving to HBA, he stays away from most of the demigods and prefers to keep it that way.
Abilities: Physically, he is a very strong guy. He has no formal training in anything remotely magical and so relies greatly on his brute strength. He knows his way around a weapon but would rather feel bones and skulls crushing beneath his knuckles. His cousins deal more with determining and seeing the fates of others but like his mother, Eliot is the son who takes action. Eliot's greatest power would be the ability to slice or cut through almost anything if he put his mind to it, his mother being the Fate that cuts the thread of life. Weapons are a common way to perform his cutting but a thread [clothing], string, yarn, etc. can also be used to cut. That being the case, Eliot is always armed to the teeth.
Weaknesses: Eliot doesn’t do well with people at all. Social interaction for Eliot is like watching a train wreck. He can’t handle himself around other peoples because he’s almost always going to pound someone’s face in. Eliot can’t ever refuse a challenge. He just always wants to better himself, no matter what the risk may be to himself.

Sample post: Eliot pulled an annoyed look at Leland’s indifferent shrug. But he knew better and that was the reason Eliot grew aggravated. His younger cousin was being tolerant with his pain but his body language and expressions spoke otherwise. Eliot knew him well enough to discern Leland’s state of mind. But he did nothing, and instead chose to just keep his distance for the time being. There was still the shred of concern for his cousin but he had a hunch that this isn’t the time for that. And Leland didn’t seem too eager to accept any form of help, especially from him. They walked silently, neither speaking a word to each other, until they finally reached the Big House. Eliot's lips curved into a grimace, not entirely happy to be here. He despised the presence of anything and the Big House was sure to have a number of blasted campers, that irritable centaur, and not to mention Dionysus himself, even at this time of night. But Leland needed medical attention, and heaven knows he needed it now. With one last irritated sigh, he signaled for his cousin to enter. Once in, Eliot suddenly grew tense, though it was not out of fear. This was different; it was a feeling that only surfaced when...
"Hey, guys." Eliot heard a playful voice greet them. He knew that voice anywhere. No matter what time of day, no matter what circumstance, he knew the voice of that senseless, immature, idiotic fool. Besides, it was difficult not to recognize it when one is housed in the same living quarters as the insufferable boy. Eliot suppressed a growl...and smiled lightly. Well, if it isn't the son of Circe himself. No doubt, he had nightmares again. The thought greatly amused him, in fact. Devyn Lancaster was a powerful demigod son of the sorceress, Circe. He was greatly gifted in magic and sorcery just like his immortal mother. Although, Eliot silently admitted that his magical talent was indeed something to be praised for, even so, Devyn was incredibly lacking in experience in the physical combat aspect of a demigod. And Eliot took great pleasure in the fact that he could pummel the boy before his spells could even begin to take effect on him.
Ignoring his sore comment meant to get under nerves, Eliot gave a polite nod in greeting. He didn’t bother correcting him about hurting Leland. He would just allow him to believe whatever he wished. If he believed it to be fact, so much the better; Devyn would then know not to mess with him. “Good evening to you as well, Devorah.” He said thickly, a part of his Russian accent leaking into his words. He calmly smiled at Devyn’s nickname. Although the fact that he called Eliot, Ellie sent him into a frenzy, he already knew how to just let it go. He had heard it enough times that Eliot now feels the need to sever the boy’s spine instead of the whole ordeal of cutting him up into numerous little pieces, feeding it to Cerberus, and burning the very waste that contains his contents.
Noticing that Leland was still lingering around his cousin and Devyn, his countenance pallid and sickly-looking, Eliot urged him deeper into the Big House towards the infirmary, giving him a firm push. “Get your injuries fixed.” he ordered. He casually crossed his arms, shooting his younger cousin an impatient look, silently assuring him, that he’d be out here waiting for him when he was finished. It took some nasty glares to convince Leland to go but when he eventually left, Eliot directed his temper to the son of Circe. “Nightmares again, Devorah?” Eliot nonchalantly inquired. He often remembered Devyn unable to sleep at night, mumbling and sweating whenever he attempted to rest. The thought was always amusing for him.
