November yawned, covering her mouth with her hand. She wasn’t bored or anything, it was just really, really late for her. @#%$ing nocturnal sleep schedule and its incompatibility with the rest of the world. “Night watch?” she said. “Sure thing. No problem.” She yawned again, wider this time. Oh, man. She really had to stop doing this all the time. A song started playing in her head, something Emilie Autumn. I am the abandoner, but still I remain… Then Jacen asked his question, and November was woken up somewhat, because he was right. How in all of Hades were they going to put Gaia to sleep again? That last time…the last time…well, she wasn’t sure, but they’d had a daughter of Aphrodite, hadn’t they? A charmspeaker, right?. And…did they…have…She couldn’t remember, dammit. And she couldn’t get the song out of her head, either. …is how long it takes for the water to rise, and the breath to stop fighting…Fighting Her would be a wasted effort, Noah was saying. “Too right,” November muttered. The Nevada arches? Arches—gateways. Gates to where, though? Well, that was the question in the first place… “Arches,” she said, frowning. Almost without her consent, November’s legs folded up and she sank onto the ground, sitting cross-legged. She was so tired, if only this had come up at night… November rubbed her eyes with the heels of her hands. She needed to go back to her room and get some sleep. That would definitely help. Or maybe, if she wasn’t careful, she’d fall asleep right here. She got to her feet again, wobbling a little. “I’m going back to my room,” she said sleepily. “Don’t blow anything up without me?” NOTES: muse was eaten by fishes ><

Yawning sleepily, Joelle walked across the halls, she hadn't noticed she was still in her black silky pajama pants and a tank top until she was being stared at by several students. Looking down at her wardrobe she grumbled, snaping her fingers as a black-smokeylike fissure cloaked her. Wraping around her like clothing until it formed into black skinnyjeans, black and red stilletos, a Mad-Hatter t-shirt from the new Alice and Wonderland movie, and a hoody covered in crimson skulls. Smiling triumphantly, she walked with a little more confidence as she turned the corners and arrived infront of the huge door to the HeadMaster's Office.
She knew she had missed the entire speach that Pontos has spoken, but word travels fast in even the largest of schools and before she knew it- she knew everything there was to know. Earlier that day she had been helping her father, Hades, prepare for what was to come. She placed a protective barrier across the cassel walls, fed all the hell hounds, paid charon, poked Thanatos, and was back before the people in the dining hall could say grace. In Joe's opinion she didn't really want to leave the Underworld, with her father standing on his own with only Persephone to look after him. But he had shooed her away, filled with too much over-confidence and pride than to keep his eldest gaurding him.
Joelle had groaned in protest but followed his orders, kissing his forehead like she usually did before shadowtraveling back to the school. She had looked at the clock and thought it enough time to take a nap before the announcement had to begin. Which led her back to the present. Late and unhappy. Looking around the room, she noticed some familiar faces, it had only been her third week in this school and she had only gotten to speak with her brother, Noah, once. She scanned the room for him, searching the back first in assumption that he might be there before she pushed her eyes to the front. Finding him in the middle of the huge circle- as if leading it, with several arrays of students standing behind him. Her eyerbows raised, impressed, with a small smirk overlaying her lips.
He must be hating this.. Joe thought with a soft chuckle, she could always feel her siblings emotions no matter how far from them she was. She thought to herself for a moment, processing the thoughts of joining them or pushing father further into letting her gaurd him. Shaking her head she pushed away all those thoughts, and with them the people who were infront of her. She heard a lot of 'HEY!'s and 'WATCH IT!' flying around her, with looks of anger and fear shooting at the back of her head as she passed. Finally pushing through the small crowd she entered the spaced circle, the smirk still clearly on her face as she spoke to the group faced away from her.
"I'd like to Join in on the fun.." she spoked loud and clear enough to reach Noah who was in the front, "if you don't mind that is.. Sir." she added the last part with a wicked smile. Waiting to see his face when he would turn around to see her.. or if he did. It was always hard to surprise Noah, he had that same quality that Joe had addapted from their father. This made her wonder if it would surprise him at all!, she was supposed to be in the Underworld for the rest of a week or two, not here standing in the same office as him- looking to join him in the same Quest. She didn't move her eyes off of him, but dually noted all the rest of the students who had turned to see who had spoken.
She didn't register or acknowledge them, but knew that Sebastian and Shay were now looking at her, with surprise or shock or boredum she didn't really know. Seeing as she was focused on Noah at the moment. Joelle imagined how she looked to the other students, standing at 5'11" while wearing her heels, her hair- black and scruffled- and awesomeshe added smugly, her sunglasses in one hand, and her other hand in her jean-pocket. Lookin like she just came out of a tattoo parlor/runway.
She nodded to herself in her thoughts, liking what they saw and liking what she was seeing. She broke her glance at Noah for a second to smile at Shay and Sebastian, wondering if they were still going out after all this time. By the look on their faces and the distance between them, it didn't seem likely.

Kellan looked up from picking his thumb absentmindedly. Huh, another newcomer? Didn't people realize how open they were leaving the school, with everyone gone? Life while they were out would be... weird. Empty.
And that tall, skinny brunette boy kept staring at him, making him uncomfortable. Was his happy wave disrupting anyone? He hoped not. Usually, people got used to it enough so that their demeanor was only slightly altered by his presence, but some people were more open to suggestion to others, usually people who wanted to be more suggestible.
Like that Grey kid over there, for example. He'd had some awkward moments with guys in the past; his power influenced some in sexual ways, moreso than others, and homosexual people especially seemed influenced by him in embarrassing ways.
He'd had to deny many people, of both genders and sexualities, but it was always more embarrassing for him than for the person; mostly he could not explain himself to mortals, and he had made them like him anyway, so it was his fault.
Someone who might not even give him a glance previously would stare, or someone who might only offer a half-hearted smile at his jokes would be cracking up, giddy on fake joy.
Kellan hated every minute of influencing others, but he needed to convince people to stay behind, if only for the school's sake. He concentrated and ramped up his happy pulse.
"Hey, shouldn't we be protecting school as well? I mean, we're the only place like us in North America, probably the world... we should have some stay behind." Now it was time to get suggestive. "Besides, it might be... fun."
He smiled widely, flashing brightly.

Yet again DJ had been so involved in a "project" that he barely had time to throw on a pair of board shorts and bolt out the door towards the Residence Leader meeting he was supposed to have been attending a good half hour ago. Of course his "project partner" wouldn't mind, they were still out cold from their latest "experiments", DJ couldn't help but giggle a little at his uses of euphemisms even in his own head, but it kind of added to the excitement, acting like his activities were supposed to have been some big secret or something. He couldn't help but smirk a little, recognizing that in some ways his extra curriculars were somewhat of a secret, well at least as far as their siblings were concerned at any rate.
He slowed to a confident stride as he reach the hallway outside the Head Master's office, not wanting to appear like he was playing catch up or anything. He slid past the door taking a seat not far from a minor god kid, he couldn't name at the moment, getting distracted by Joelle from the Hades cabin offering to join her brother and a bunch of other suckers on some quest or another.
"Oh course Joelle, you can pair up with me in my chariot. Which means the rest of you will have to carry your supplies on your own chariots..." Noah droned on from the front. Those Hades kids, especially Noah, always acted like they had something to prove, it was sad really.
"Hey, shouldn't we be protecting school as well? I mean, we're the only place like us in North America, probably the world... we should have some stay behind. Besides, it might be... fun." that minor god boy seemed to have a voice after all, and not a bad one at that. DJ couldn't help but grin his "fox in the hen house" grin as he piped up.
"I've got your back bro. Those people with something to prove can go play hero, I have no intention of going anywhere, besides," He turned in his seat to shoot the boy a sly wink, "I fully intend to keep the, ahem, home fires burning." he grinned wolfishly as he toyed with his black pearl ring. "Not to mention the fact that some of us are better equipped, to mind the store while you guys run out to face certain death and destruction," the pearl twisted just right and out sprang DJ's most prized possession, a Trident. He lay it across his lap as he kicked up his heels on a desk in front of his waving his hands at the questers dismissively.
"Y'all go play and have fun now. Don't rush back on our account," he looked over at the minor god boy again smiling, "We've got this covered,"

Joelle nodded to her brothers words, "We'll take Blue, i bet he's dying to get out of the stableyard.." she added with a small grin, walking over to stand next to him. She turned around when a guy about her height if standing, had spoken. He had a cheery-almost melodic tone to him which made her brows raise in surprise. She wondered who his parent was, and ended up falling deeper and deeper into her own thoughts before snapping out of it at a familiar voice. Looking over, she saw DJ Nelson, turtley as ever with enough inuendos to put even the most challenging person on their toes.
She let a smirk escape her lips when she remembered Leeland describing him, 'Tall, muscular and good in bed, what can i say?' she remembered his line. Her response was a shake of the head and a laughing grin. She looked at him now, he was shirtless, wearing board shorts and holding the famous weapon of all Poseidon kids. The tridant.
She listened to the two boys talk about staying at the school, knowing full well why Dj was staying. But Joe wondered about this other kid who she had never met, she scanned him over with her eyes. He was definatly good-looking, but it would seem he was a bit younger then her, by a year or two she would think. She shrugged to their words and locked eyes with the boy.
It seemed he was radiating something that was making a couple of the people in the room extremely happy. But even though she was about 3 feet from him it had no effect on her. She figured it to be a Hades thing, which was usually the cause of the defects of other students' influence on her.
"Oh cause we all know how covered everything will be once we're gone.." She spoke to Dj while trying to keep a straight face. Feeling it falter when she hinted at the word 'covered'.

Kellan listened to that boy, DJ. He smiled. Someone would join him! He did hope that the guy didn't get any ideas, though. That'd be... awkward.
That sly wink, coupled with his obvious innuendos, made him think that DJ was just another sexaholic; the school seemed to be teeming with them.
He chuckled at the goth's sarcasm, covering his mouth. Huh, he hadn't noticed her before; did people just keep coming in? How many people were there to join?!
Then, she locked eyes with Kellan. They stared at each other, and ridiculously, Kellan felt like introducing himself. He walked over, and smiled at her. He knew that without his happy bolt, he still looked good, but he somehow felt inadequate.
He had a strange fascination with goth girls; his last f*ckbuddy, Julie he thought her name was, had been goth. At least, she dressed in purple and blacks, and her hair was licorice blue. She'd been mysterious, somehow, carrying what seemed to be an unknown charm. Once he'd realized there was no charm or secret, he had lost interest.
If this girl was willing, he'd try not to this time. He'd been cursed with a dry spell lately, unfortunately. No, really; the Aphrodite girl had cursed him with a dry spot. It was a cruel torture, after all Kellan had tried to do for the girl, but whatever.

"Yeah baby, you know exactly how well I can 'cover' things," DJ shot back with a smirk, feeling like some kind of high school jock. Which when he thought about it, he kind of was. Captain of the Swim team, sailing and rowing teams, hell he was more or less President of the Rodeo Club. He toyed with his trident, half tempted to trip that Kellan boy as he walked up, but stopped himself knowing it was exactly something that was becoming for a Son of Poseidon. DJ had certainly grown into a new person over the course of the school year. In years past he and Jesse Monroe were more or less clones of each other. But Jesse had been rather reoccupied thus far, which DJ was positive was do to the attentions of that cute blonde boy who volunteered to go on the quest with him. "He could have done worse," DJ mused scanning the room for his friends Paul and Leeland, both of which were rather conspicuous by their absence. But then again when a Hephaestus kid was engrossed in their project, time didn't exist. He glanced back at the front of the room, the look on Noah's face was priceless. He was just inside Kellan's "happy zone" so Noah looked like he was going to rip the kids head off, and be extremely happy about it. But then again violence usually made Noah happy anyway. "Yo Joe," DJ called out, the inkling of an idea forming in his mind, "You left one of your glow in the dark socks in my room, want to come look for it after lights out?" There was a devilish twinkle in DJs eye that would have made Hermes jealous. It wasn't exactly typical for DJ to more or less be a "turtle block", but damnit he was having far too much fun. Joelle was something else when it came to nocturnal activities, and if she was headed off on some silly quest, then they definitely need to have a little good bye and good luck party...for two, possibly more... Joelle watched with curious eyes as the students around the room started to part off, soon leaving only a select few behind to watch their conversation. Her attention was averted once DJ replied, "Last i checked, covering anything wasn't really your best.. hm.. quality.. baby.." she spoke in a more subtler, sexier tone. Saying 'Baby' with a slight sneer. The boy with the happy mood got to his feet when she had locked eyes with him, standing in front of her within three small strides. She was eye to eye with him while wearing her stilettos and was thankful for it, looking up at people was odd for her.
He introduced himself as Kellan Caradoc, A son of Hedone.. no wonder.. she thought aimlessly, returning his smile with a pleasant tip of the corners of her mouth. He was close enough that she could smell his cologne, it was subtle but sweet and rich at the same time. Intoxicating but louring. She could see the color of his eyes and was looking through them with her own. Blinking her hazel eyes she realized he was waiting for a response, “Oh.. Joelle Morte, Eldest Daughter of Hades. Nice to meet you..” she grinned, trying to think of where this curious attitude was coming from.
She wondered if his influence on the others was still working or if he was trying it on her now. She didn’t feel any more pleased then she had when she left the Underworld this morning. Noah was twitching at her side like a wound up jack in the box, she snook a glance at him and had to muffle her laughter with a cough. Joelle turned back to Kellan, "So was that you who was making everyone all happy and sh*t...?" She asked with slight curiosity, even though she already knew the answer.
She looked at Dj as he called her name, listening to his question and seeing the small twinkle that always glittered across his eyes when he was thinking of something devious. She couldn't help but lick her bottom lip and nibble at it, an equally devious smile curling at her lips as she spoke, "hmm.. Only if i get to be the one to pick it up.." She smirked, composing her face a little as she looked back to Kellan. "Maybe you can help me find it?" Joe added, biting down on her lip a little to keep from saying anything else.

"Eldest? Wow, that must be cool. Does that make you his mortal heir or something?"
Kellan bluntly realized that he was Hedone's only heir. Cool, he thought. Does that mean that if she had another child, I would be more powerful? He knew that she had other children; there had to be, she being a prostitute and all.
They were probably unclaimed, though; wandering the world as CEOs and powerful, charismatic people. He certainly would have been, if he hadn't come here.
He was thinking such pleasant thoughts when Joelle pulled a random yet awkward comment.
"Err, yes, that was me. I can't really help it, but people are... happy around me.spank me hard, you knew who my mom was!"
He had come to that conclusion halfway through his thought; this girl had expressed to confusion over who his parent was. Most people, even demigods, would make a couple noises like "huh", "errr," or his favorite, "Saywha?"
He didn't know, from that point, where the conversation turned quite so kinky; one moment was the introductions, another was an invitation to a tricycle? He needed to back off, to take it slow. Sure, he was fine with doing a girl, but having a dude there?
Creepy.
He shook his head, and said, "You know, this sounds like a two-man job, seeing as it glows. Maybe you could lose it in my room sometime?"
The comment was thinly veiled, and too obvious. He didn't show it, but instead merely kicked himself, swearing softly in his mind.

"Eldest? Wow, that must be cool. Does that make you his mortal heir or something?"Joe pondered this question for a moment, she had thought about it before but didn't really know how to word it. "Well kinda.. yes.. I already have an agreement with him that I get the Isle of the Blest/Elysium and Noah here," she gestured to Noah with her thumb, "Gets the Fields of Punishment" she smiled at him over her shoulder. They had had a talk about that at some point. She waited for him to sit on that before saying anything else, realizing that her last question was a bit awkward judging by the the pause in conversation. She didn't really mean it to be, she was just a very straightforward person sometimes. If she wanted to know something- she would find out one way or the other. "Err, yes, that was me. I can't really help it, but people are... happy around me.spank me hard, you knew who my mom was!"Listening to his answer, she found herself grinning at the end of it. In Joe's eyes, because she was Eldest and Resident Leader and all this other stuff that was hard for her to remember, she took it upon herself to learn all the gods and goddesses and monsters and mythological and titans and as of recent-- the romans. Which were kind of iffy and different, but she would learn them too in time. "I think of it kinda as my job to know everyone's parents.." She stated absentmindedly. Sometimes Noah would tease her about being actually a daughter of Athena, which he would get a quick punt to the behind in return. She was always kind of iffy about Athena children, they thought themselves so.. superior. Like the rest of them didn't have the learning capability that they had. She had her share of friends from them though, like Shay Du Rone- who if in her way at the wrong time could get your butt whipped. But Joelle had a way with speaking with people, and had saved Sebastian from eternal damnation in the pits of tartarus plenty of times when it came to Shay. Which gave her the memory of this evening and wondered what she had missed to create their hate.. 'Sebastian probably said something stupid.. she concluded in her thoughts, mentally shrugging her shoulders. She whirled back into the present when she had realized the boy was now standing there like she just slapped him with a fish and told him to eat it. It kind of shocked her that he didn't take it the way most of the people that this school would, with an excited nod of the head or something rather. It intrigued her interest, Maybe he's different.. Different is good.. I like different.. she was contemplating slapping herself to make her thoughts stop going 180 but stopped short when he spoke. "You know, this sounds like a two-man job, seeing as it glows. Maybe you could lose it in my room sometime?"His response was definitely not what she was expecting, quite the opposite actually. She thought he would guffaw and call her disgusting then leave. Which would probably lead to another person in the I-Hate-JoelleMorte line. She had a way with making people dislike her with great enthusiasm, sometimes she didn't even have to do anything- all she had to do is say who's daughter she was. Joelle thought she heard DJ snort or something, but was quickly ignoring him as she searched Kellans' eyes. For what she didn't know, but found herself nodding slowly. "I think maybe its more of a one-man job.. so we better search for it soon cause sooner or later the-" she caught herself short, about to say 'sooner or later the Narguhls might take them.' but refrained her short Nerdy-gesture. "Uh.. never mind.." she smiled a little to cover up her momentary llamaedness. "I think DJ will be fine looking for mine on his own.. ain't that right DJ? I can already hear the Aphrodite children knocking on your door." She smiled, she knew that DJ would probably get laid with or without her. He attracted women and men in even the shortest of times, like bees to honey. This particular honey bee though was interested in something else though, someone new and sweeter. "Wanna go for a walk with me Kellan?" She found herself suddenly asking, she didn't know where the sudden outburst came from, but it felt right. She gave him an innocent smile, leaving the question open for him to say No. ~~ Word Count: 819 Notes: hehe x] Muse: Lookin for somethin New

Kellan smiled, and the expression was wonderful. Usually, he was ironically mellow, and although always happy, he never expressed emotion or wore his heart on his sleeve.
"You know, a walk is the perfect thing to get one's mind off of all of this," he said, gesturing at the crowd quickly gathering around the Hades boy, as if the quest was a tangible object that one could point to.
"Would you like to go?" He felt awkward; should he take her hand? Should he simply walk and expect for her to follow? If he did, he might be interpreted as surly or antisocial.
Then again, she was the goth.
He smiled, motioned for her to follow him, or better yet, walk next to him, and they walked out together out of the room, ignoring the hubbub of the upcoming Quest.
He was aware of her nearby, and wondered at the age difference between them. He didn't know her age, and was terrible at guessing by looks alone. Besides, girls did all they could to hide their age, and asking, he knew from experience, would only piss her off.
He let his thoughts lie, though, to enjoy the sunny and bright day outside. There were only a few clouds above them, but they were white and fluffy, not dense of looming.
He knew his happy wave was still radiating, and that, in the presence of this sunny day, it would seem to be amplified by humanity's natural appreciation for sunny weather.
He also knew that his joyjolt might, depending on the person, be interpreted by their brain as orgasmic or sexual; it had happened before. What kind of person Joelle was, he didn't know, but he dearly hoped she wouldn't get too excited, especially right here in the open.
Well, mainly just in the open; she could get excited elsewhere, he was okay with that.

Post by Leeland Black Horse-Schmidt on Mar 15, 2011 10:40:56 GMT -7
There was pain in Lee's head that just wouldn't go away. It wasn't so much a pain as a nagging sense of someone nagging at him to keep working, a feeling Lee was far from accustom to.
Several months ago, Lee had been caught up in a very very good dream, with his bustling about his room, making things "just right" for a special visit from Keller, clad in nothing but only generosity would call a bathrobe. He hummed to himself happily, his excitement quite obvious to anyone who had a care to notice. Unfortunately for Lee, one of the maybe friezes of Lee's father Hephaestus decided it was a good time to try and communicate with him.
"Leeland. We need to talk..."
"Not now dad, I'm busy, or will be once Kel gets here. So why don't you hold that thought for oh say the next hour or eight. Then we can have a nice little father-son moment--" despite his obvious dream state, Lee certainly should have known better than to try and put a god on "hold", to go have some kinky fun times with his best friend. The next thing that happened was something Lee wouldn't likely forget. The frieze of Hephaestus reached out from the wall and smack Lee in the back of the head as it sternly called out,
"Leeland, pay attention, this is important, not just for me or the gods, but all of us..." Lee collapsed under the weight of the impact, while his head filled with ideas, the sort of ideas that didn't normally run around in his head, mainly because it didn't involve naked people involved in various stages of carnal pleasure. When he woke up in the morning, he had a headache that felt like a hammer was being used to split an anvil in two...repeatedly, leaving him with little choice but to get to work on those transplanted ideas.
For months now he worked almost day and night to bring those ideas into fruition. It took months of hard work, brain wracking innovation, and the creation of a whole new dictionary of swear words, but now he was so close to completion, and perhaps being rid of that nagging nag once and for all. However, the one little snag in his plans was the Hephaestus' Residence's practice of having the older kids all rotate through the job of being Residence Leader, and this month was Lee's turn at the job.
A colorful slew of swears eachoed around the work shop as Lee realized he was extremely late for a Residence Leaders meeting in the Headmaster's Office. As soon as the realization hit him, he dropped what he was doing and ran out of the work shop, not even bothering to clean himself up, since he fully planned on going right back to work as soon as this meeting was over. He snuck into the meeting just in time to get the gist of the "quest" and to hear that blowhard Noah dishing out orders.
"What just a minute Death Boy. We don't have that many flying chariots, and we certainly don't have the resources to build that many by dawn tomorrow," Lee blurted out bad temperedly. "But lucky for you suicidal heroes, my dad's been expected something like this for a while, so he's had me working on a special little project that may well fit your needs. Come on I'll show you what I'm talking about," He quickly lead the way out to the work shop, where he punch a button on the remote in his pocket, causing the massive hanger type doors to slide open revealing a massive black trireme style ship resting on equally massive struts.
"I give you my Dirty Mistress. This baby is my own special blend of Celestial Bronze and Stygian Iron, bonded together with a special ingredient that it's best not to ask about. This sexy beast has the special ability and buoyancy to be able to fly as well as to be able to sail over water. Those hot little engines on the sides will allow it to sail over currents of air just as we could sail over water. But wait there's more. This very sexy blend of Stygian Iron and Celestial Bronze will be able to conduct certain abilities across the ship, such as shadow travel. By my calculations, Noah and Joelle will be to hold on to the rails of the ship and make the whole ship shadow travel, fairly safely. I haven't been able to work out the exact distances yet...but my best estimation is about 1000 miles or so at a time. Now, that is to say it isn't without risks, mainly being this ship isn't finished, it doesn't have any kind of weaponry or anything yet. But given another couple of weeks, it should be a down right comfy ride across the country--"
"Lee, we don't have that kind of time. Can you finish the ship en-route?" Noah demanded with his typical tactless tact.
"Well yeah, just not the weaponry of course. Technically this baby should be ready to take off at any moment, but going into a potential war without any kind of weapons is kind of suicidal. Besides, who said I was going on this little road trip?" Lee asked, knowing in the back of his mind exactly what was going to happen, but not wanting to admit it.
"Well guess what my friend, you've been drafted as Chief Engineer. Get the supplies you'll need to make it work. Departure time remains dawn." Noah declared with finality, leaving Lee thinking, "Ok dad, I get it. Next time you want to talk to me, I'm not going to put you on hold. If there is a next time..."

Enya grinned wickedly at the memory of what had become of her once glorious dream. She had been having a happy fun time with a black haired beauty when outta the blue!-
“ENYA!” Hephaestus bellowed, the sound echoing throughout the room and reflecting off the walls with lighter- softer calls of her name.
Enya didn’t even flinch or look up from what she was currently doing, she had gotten used to the fact that her father liked to peer into her dreams. But this certainly was different then the others, for one- she was having what her brother Leeland liked to call a ‘Happy!’ dream. Little did dad know though that this wasn’t actually a dream but kind of a replay of what had happened before the dream. And just like before, she continued on to do what she was going to do. “Enya, stop this- I have something Important to tell you- Are you even listening to me?” He hastily spoke with slight astonishment, “Not really dad- I’m kind of focused here..” She replied just as clearly, deciding that she’d save that last part for later rather then in front of her father.
“No. Not you too; First- I go over to your brother Leeland, to tell him what I’m about to tell you and he tries to put me on hold. Now you’re going to say the same thing..” He spoke hastily, his eyes widening and his voice cracking in odd parts as he painted a picture of what he saw in Lee’s room. Apparently I’m not the only one having Happy Dream f-ups. she thought with a shrug. “No I won’t put you on hold father.. just continue what your saying- I’m listening..” she spoke aloud, peering up from kissing the girls collarbone. “I want you to help him. Do whatever it takes- slap him if you have to! and- and Will You Stop That?!! I mean really Enya, I’ve never seen you So.. So.. Provocative.” He said disheveled and misshapen, trying to keep his eyes on the ceiling.
Enya sighed heavily but didn’t stop what she was doing, she may love her father but he was the one butting in on her dream- he may as well be taught a lesson. She wrapped her cream colored legs around the other girls’ waist but stopped moving her lips; Turning her head to look at her father. “Get Lee to take me with him on this.. Quest thing. Got it. Anything else you would like to tell me or interrupt me on?” She stated blatantly. Unlike some of her siblings she didn’t really take crap from their father. Sure he was probably the nicest most heartfelt of the Gods, but he had his awkward moments when he thought he should take on the fatherly role and read her bed time stories or something. She loved him more then anyone could ever really love a father, and as much as she knew he wanted to send her to her room and ground her- he wouldn’t. Because he respected her enough to know that he kind of didn’t have that privilege.
“No sweetheart, that’s all..” He said much softer, making her think of how silly it was that the Blacksmith of the Gods called his daughters sweetheart still. Unwrapping her legs and replacing her clothes; Enya hopped out of the bed sheets and walked over to Hephaestus, wrapping her little arms around him and smiling. “I love you dad..” She whispered gently, looking up at him with her hazel blue-green eyes. “I love you too sweetheart..” he replied, looking down at her with his soot-covered face. She smiled before pulling away and shoving him, “NOW GET OUTTA HEAH!” she yelled in a mocking tone, her Irish accent running thick. She bolted upright in her silky black sheets, wiping some of the sweat that ran in bullets down her face with the back of her hand.
The sound of a sudden adorable snore came from somewhere to her left making her heart skip a beat and her entire body jolt away from it. Enya put her hand to her chest as she breathed slowly in, noting that it was just the black haired beauty from the night before. Another-more aggressive snore sounded from her right and she forced herself not to assume anything, turning to see a boy, shirtless and wrapped around her. She raised her brows but slowly started to remember that the dream hadn’t gotten to that part yet. She smirked profoundly, slyly slipping and stepping around the both of them and to the opposite side of the room. Finding a red flannel (that probably wasn’t hers) and putting it on, as she rummaged through her drawers to find a pair of jean shorts she had cut herself. Slipping on her black high top converse and skipping out the door.
The memorable images that Hephaestus had pushed into her thoughts kept flying out of nowhere and attacking her mentally. The same images of what Leeland had been doing in his own room, mixed with what would happen if she wasn’t there; residing in one of the questers lighting on fire or something rather. She focused her wonderment on the contraption he said that Lee was building, What on earth could that boy be making now?.. she thought absently, turning the corner as she arrived in front of Leeland’s bedroom door.
It fell open with a small creek at the first knock and she quickly grabbed the handle- swinging the door open as it crashed against the wall behind it. Enya looked around the room, lifting up bed sheets and such as she flung them around. On the wall was the calendar that the Hephaestus children had made to see which days’ who was Resident Leader. Enya was next on the list and the thought made her grumble, no one really wanted to be the leader in the Hephy Residence. It meant that if you f*cked up then the next person on the list wouldn’t be able to fix it because there wouldn’t be a next person on the list. There wouldn’t even be a list if there was just one leader.
For the time being, Leeland was Resident Leader and she was glad- he always was so laid back and stuff compared to the rest. Who thought that if you were leader you had to do leaderly things like dorm-checks. Countless times she had to crisp her siblings for aimlessly walking into her dorm room. The only person aloud in there was Leeland- and she figured it was the same for her and his room.
Looking back at the Calendar he noted that today was the day to go to the Resident Leaders’ meeting. What do you wanna bet that he’s late again.. she thought with a chuckle, hopping over the stuff all over the floor and out the door.
Most people would assume that he was at the meeting now, and she did- but she also knew that he would go straight to his hangar workspace that the school so conveniently provided him afterward. Lifting up the hangar door, she slid in and shut it behind her. Sitting and waiting before not long did the door slide open and reveal the giant ship. She listened to him jibber jab on about it and raised her brows when her eyes actually started to focus on it. Standing up she caressed her hand across one of the engines, “These are the same types they use for the Boeing 737 in Dallas.. niiiccee” she was sort of talking to herself but her words seemed loud enough for Lee to hear.
Once Noah had walked away with his haughty sarcastic smile and the group of people, Enya stopped her admiring and walked over to Lee. “I’m coming with you and it’s all you’re fault.” She clearly stated before launching into what their father did.

It was amazing how fast this little quest pulled itself together, Noah couldn't help but feel a little proud of himself for setting the ball rolling, at the same time he was beginning to worry that this was going to turn into another of Pandora's pithoi, but he steadfastly ignored much of the bickering, complaining and other distractions the others were flinging about like it was the latest fashion. He was deep in thought planning out all that he would need for the trip and all the preparations he'd need to make.
"Alright people, I believe we're finished here, get packing and be here an hour before dawn. If you're not here you will miss your flight, and yes I will leave any of your asses behind, don't doubt it for a moment." without another word Noah returned to the Hades house where he was greeted by his faithful hellhound Fluffy. He couldn't exactly remember how the hound got that name, it just kind of stuck. Noah would have to make arrangements for someone to take care of the beast. Normally Riven would be his first choice, but his brother wasn't exactly fond of Fluffy, nor would he be too pleased at being saddled with the monster, even if Noah asked nicely and offered something in exchange. No, he'd have to find someone else, someone who would actually take care of the animal...that ruled out most of the demititans and Hermes kids.
"Maxi would adore Fluffy, but then he'd probably go on a murderous rampage the first time Fluffy ate that damn stuff rabbit of his...I guess that just leaves Lewis..." Lewis would make a good fight after all, Noah was fairly concerned about leaving the boy on his own. The ghost of a smile danced at his lips, his compassion for Lewis was much more than he could understand, but he wouldn't fight it either.
"Come on Fluffy, let's go say 'hi' to Lewis," Fluffy was overcome with excitement, nearly destroying everything in the living room as the creature bounced all over the place. Noah had to take a firm hand, grabbing Fluffy's Iron collar and guiding it out of the House.
It wasn't a long walk across the Olympian Wing to the Dionysus House, but from the whines of impatient excitement from the hellhound, it could have been clear on the other side of the universe. Noah knocked on the door and stood back careful to keep Fluffy in check.
"Whatcher Want?!" Demanded Lewis' younger brother Maxi.
"I've come to see Lewis, is he in?"
Maxi made to reply, but soon found he had eyes only for Fluffy. Maxi launched himself at the hellhound giggling and wrestling with it in a playful maner. Noah just shook his head and stepped into the Dionysus House shooting a quick warning at the dog as he went.
"Fluffy play nice and behave yourself," Noah quickly made his way to Lewis' room avoiding as many of his siblings as possible, closing the door behind him. No sooner did Lewis notice Noah's presence then he launched himself at him in a bone crushing hug. Noah had finally gotten used to Lewis' brand of affection by now, and managed not to flinch or recoil from him, instead snaked an arm around his waist and guided him back outside to where Maxi and Fluffy were playing.
"Lewis, I'm going to be taking a trip in the morning, and I may be gone for a long time. I was wondering if you would like to take care of Fluffy for me while I'm gone. He promises to be on his best behavior," Noah explained as Lewis squealed in delight, joining Maxi in rough housing with Fluffy. Noah couldn't help but smile knowing he made the right decision, even if something were to happen to him, Fluffy would protect Lewis, and Lewis would take care of Fluffy, which set Noah's mind at ease. He joined in the play for a little bit before he had to return to the House to pack, he gave Lewis a hug and a small peck on the cheek whispering, "I'll see you when I get back," he forced himself to leave and not look back so that he wouldn't be tempted to stay.
Upon returning to the Hades house, he was pleased to see everything had returned to its normal state, the shadowy furniture was all in its proper place and form, probably thanks to Joelle. He marched to his room, grabbing a knapsack and stuffing it full of supplies and things he would need on the quest, slinging it over his shoulder, he quickly checked the inner pockets of his long duster. There they were his Stygian Iron and Celestial Bronze Swords, right were they were supposed to be. He couldn't think of anything else he would need, and seeing no reason to delay he left the house, boarded the ship, finding a comfortable spot on deck and fell asleep for the few short hours left before they departed.

Jacen grinned at Noah's presumptions. He highly doubted the boy would leave certain people behind; powerhouses they couldn't afford to ditch, or people in charge of administation... Administration! Jacen remembered a time (or, had read stories of it, anyway) when quests didn't need such a big crowd; they were chosen by an oracle, and that was that.
He didn't know a lot of these people, except for Jesse, but surely they must have seen him. He recognized some, sure, but no names.
He got out of his chair, and left the room, only realizing afterwards that the happiness he had been trying to crush, a feeling of giddiness and excitement, had only been centralized there, in that room. He paced hurriedly to his residence.
Once there, he turned to his bed, and began to pile his only possessions onto it, except for the books, which wouldn't fit anyway. He would have to choose one, and hope he would have time to read it.
Then, came his clothes. Generally, he wore darker colors, solid black shirts with small sleeves, with dark blue jeans. He wasn't goth or anything, but it helped with camouflage, and he didn't have a lot of time to go shopping anyway.
Ha! Shopping. The last time he had gone shopping was.... he couldn't remember. He hated it, more than anything. Generally, he was the kind to see something, like it, try it on, and buy it, and then go home triumphant. How some girls took it as a hobby, he couldn't know.
Then came his keyring, a gift from his mother. He slipped it into his jean pockets, grinning at the memory. If he held it in his hand, and wished for his weapon, or armor, it would appear. He had visited the armory recently, and with the help of some Hekate kid, he had made some additions and changes. Originally, it would only give him his greatest need, but after four missed attempts, he had simply altered its design.
