The first week of school always seemed to be the worst time for Jordin. Especially seeing how she got transferred during her senior year by her father’s request. ‘Yeah great idea dad’ Jordin commented in her head sarcastically, today was a bad day for her. She arrived to class late and got lunch detention for it so by the time she went through all her other classes and arrived at her detention the lunch rush had arrived. Though there was always enough food for everyone there some people (mostly the unclaimed kids) liked to take seconds leaving and unsatisfying lunch for one Jordin Wayne. The rest of the day didn’t seem to get any better she could only imagine what she would have to go through once she reached her dorm.
Not that she minded her dorm with her other Sibling it’s just that this was probably not the best time seeing as Jesse was bummed out about the whole desert and quest thing. But Camille her step-sister apparently seemed very nice, Jordin didn’t mind her that much. Shaking her head she went back to the homework she was supposed to be working on here in the amphitheater. Usually it was empty unless during dinner and everyone is expected to hold hands and sing together like everyone in this school actually gets along. Please, to a lot of the demi-titans she had met they were resentful to the children of the Olympians the same for the minor gods. Then of course everyone had to attend school with monster children who were originally hunted by both parties is not a good mix up.
Jordin’s homework like everyone else’s was written in ancient Greek, seeing as the children of Gods and Titan’s brains were hard wired for it. This made the homework a lot less challenging for her compared to the work she had to do back in Michigan which was all in English, then don’t get her started on the Spanish homework she had to do for her foreign language course.
She let out a sigh flipping the page of her textbook then stiffened slightly. She assumed she was all alone here but her senses told her otherwise. Someone had just arrived, though she knew it was probably another student she didn’t like the feeling. Being the new kid meant you were always someone’s target when you’re a halfblood.
