What he's hiding, however, is another matter completely. He grew up in an orphanage, after the sudden death of his mother and father. He has no memories of being anywhere but the orphanage, until a few years ago, when he was adopted by HP's CEO, which came as a shock, from South-East England who introduced himself as Alexander Bailey. One thing he has always hated more than anything else is being associated with that childish criminal mastermind idiot who tortures fairies as a pastime. While at the orphanage, Artemis felt somewhat sensitive about his name and does not accept criticism well. He has been known to ahh.. beat up kids who brought the subject up too much. It doesn't help that he suffers from severe ADHD and dyslexia, of course. So, in a nutshell, he's tempremental, ever so slightly, easily angered and can be very intimidating and annoying at times, though he often does not realise it. He's not the stereotypical child of Minerva, though he has an IQ that is ever so slightly above the average. Though he sure does have a very bad temper, or so it seems. His sense of self importance, arrogance and general selfishness often override his intelligence, or so to speak, making him reckless in dire situations. He prides himself over the fact that he has the ability to absent mindedly conjure up exceptional battle strageties, though they often involve him blowing up or setting fire to something.
History: Artemis Fowl has never known where he came from, or why he ended up in London. He just kind of did. He's always been told that his parents died suddenly, under 'mysterious circumstances.' He figures that either no one knows what happened, or they're too scared to tell him. He's pretty messed up, and it didin't help that literally everyone seemed to be against him while at the orphanage. Snide remarks, jokes, his few possessions going missing, the works. Mainly because he prefered to be alone most of the time, and screamed at anyone who made fun of his name. The worst was to come, however, when an up and coming new author visited his school. Artemis was unfortunate enough for this author to be Eoin Colfer, who wrote the 'Artemis Fowl' series. Every time Colfer mentioned the name 'Artemis,' a roar of laughter errupted from the class. Being the main character, this occurred a lot. So, he simply sat there, trying to ignore them, and the author who he had taken a great disliking to, with his head in his hands. Every time he looked up, Colfer was giving him a pitiful look that was so pathetic it would have angered anyone. He had it coming, really. Artemis abruptly rose from where he sat at the back if the room, after about the 50th mention of his name, and went to snatch the book from his hands and hit him round the head with it. He got close, as well, but some imbecile teacher held him back, forcing him to drop the book before he inflicted the first blow. Now, what happened next took Artemis and those around him completely by surprise, and he is still unable to explain exactly what happened. The book rose momentarily just long enough to deliver a few firm, hard blows to the horrified author. At that point, Artemis was pretty much dragged from the room, much to the classes' surprise. Not a good start to the second year at primary school, but still, he doesn't regret it. Yeah, he wasn't allowed on school trips or to meet any more visitors to the school, but it was a good excuse to stay away from the other kids as much as possible. Even though he was quickly expelled, he still had to put up with them at the orphanage. So the snide remarks continued, most of them about fairies or something along those lines, and a few of them waved a copy of the book in his face several times a day. He often responded well, beating a few of them to a pulp on bad days, and he shut himself in his room on good days. Artemis is no stranger to punishment, and is often labeled as a troublemaker, which is probably accurate, even by demigod standards.
The day he was introduced to Alexander Bailey, he was sullen and stubborn, refusing to talk very much, and if he did, he revealed very little about himself. Looking back at it, Artemis has no idea what this guy saw in him. He'd never had a visitor in the years that he lived there, no foster parents would have him, so he really didn't know what to think of Mr. Bailey. Besides, he had given him the classic treatment, act like the disturbed ADHD kid that everyone avoids. He'd driven everyone else away, but Bailey was determined to stay. A few months later, he was leaving the orphanage where he had grown up for the first time, aged 7. He was one of the only ones left out of those who he had met as a toddler, and he was pretty glad to turn his back on the place.
He hadn't been taken to America, to the wolf Lupa, mainly because his father had died along with the untold secret. The mortals had no idea, as though they recieved an explanatory note from Minerva, they were extremlely hesitant to accept it as anything more than a practical joke. After the adoption became official, Mr. Bailey also recieved a similar note, though he dismissed it as an attempt to kidnap the boy. He promptly doubled the security on the estate and forbid him to leave under any circumstances to ensure his safety. Upon arrival at Mr. Bailey's home, he was pretty surprised. Artemis knew that he was fairly wealthy, being who he was and all, but his house looked more like a mini stately home than a 'cottage,' which was how he had chosen to describe it. There was a lake directly in front of the house, posh-looking gardens with fountains, statues and topiaries. To his absolute horror, he noticed that he had two small tennis courts in the back garden. He had absolutely no intention of ever using them. He greatly dislikes tennis, and most sports.
After several months of Alexander being at work constantly, and sitting around at home with a private tutor, (He had been expelled from the nearest schools in the area, keeping a track record of leaving 1 school a month) Artemis was more than comfortable with this new high class lifestyle, though he was growing tired of it. He was almost glad to be attacked by this tutor and a couple ofmembers of staff, at least it was a change to the now boring daily routine. Though it wasn't pleasant when the tutor transformed into a snake-woman-thing and a couple of other mythological monsters though he was too busy being terrified to nitice what they were exactly. Almost immediately, they decided that he should die. Yeah, that wasn't so good, butspank me hard, you can't have everything. So there he was, scared to death and being mauled to pieces when the his guardian (in a very cliched moment) arrived early from work, as he had decided to spend some quality time with his son, along with the gardener who had decided to turn up as well. Well, he was the gardener from the waist up, though where his legs should have been, there was a giant mass of fur and hooves. This didn't seem to process at the moment, though, he was being ripped to shreads, so it was fair enough. Bailey only realised that the note that he had recieved was in fact completely true. After managing to escape the monsters, and possibly a couple of them were killed in the process, he reluctantly allowed the gardener to escort himself and the then terrified 9 year old Artemis to the abandoned ruins of The Wolf House, inhabited only by wolves and the occasional demigod, where they pretty much dumped him with a small backpack.
Meeting the talking wolf, being forcefully given a tattoo (which he constantly informed anyone who would listen was illegal) and being taken to stay in a tent in some sort of Roman army camp after spending what seemed like a few days being watched by said talking wolf to see if he was 'worthy,' as she unhelpfully put it. He wouldnt usually mind finding himself in an unknown environment, but after what he had experienced over the past few days, he was completely freaked out. He didn't think, Alexander would be too thrilled about it either, if this weird talking wolf thing ever allowed him to leave. So, Arty managed to get virtually everyone to dislike or hold a grudge against him during his second week at the Academy, after humiliating himself during a chariot race and being constantly disrespectful to pretty much everyone, which didn't help too much with his popularity. In fact, it was apparently hillarious, according to everyone else, anf it seemed to him that he was always on latrine duty. How ironic that a child of Minerva was claimed after not only managing to fall from the chariot, but somehoe managing to drag the chariot itself down with him, while the horses continued to race down the track at top speed. A comical site, maybe, but if there's one thing that Artemis absolutely hates making a fool of himself. Since then, he's been determined to prove his racing skills to the rest of the Camp, somewhat unsuccessfully. It didn't help that he downright refused to acknowledge anyone as his superior, being the control freak that he was, which they didnt seem to like too much.
Abilities: -He is a phenomenal strategist, though he often goes over the top -He can communicate with owls (lol) -He has an uncanny ability to predict the stock market prices (Minerva being the goddess of commerce as well as wisdom, according to Wikepedia) -Artemis is a naturally exceptional swordsman, favouring the short sword in a fight. Weaknesses: -He is hugely claustrophobic -can't stand bugs, especially spiders. -It could easily be said that he has a phobia of closed in spaces. -He has been known to be paranoid about particular things, such as fire, control ,(over a group of people) and trust, or the apparent lack of it.
Other Information: Artemis often chooses to act like the book character, 'Artemis Fowl,' especially around strangers, though when people get to know him, he hates for people to bring up the topic. It is his idea of a joke.
-His Armani watch can 'transform' into a shield, Imperial Gold dagger or short sword, due to various complex mechanisms, given to him by his mother during his 2nd week at camp.

Welcome to that Academy.
The bio looks pretty good, but there are a few changes that need to be made.
1) Romans have a different camp and camp experience than the Greeks. The Roman demigods are sent by their parents at the age of two years in a building known as the Wolf House where they are supported by Lupa, the She-Wolf goddess, then if she judges them worthy she takes them to the Roman camp, like gladiators of Ancient Rome, where they are livestock marked with the symbol of their godly parent and the initial SPQR. Later, for each year spent at the training camp, they receive an additional line on their tattoos, like the Greek campers, who get an additional bead to their necklaces every year they spend at Camp Half-Blood.
2) There seems to be some confusion over Artemis' age in the Age area it says he's 12, but in the bio at one point it mentions him being 14.
3) There is no mention of how he came to be at the Academy
The easiest fix would be to change him from Minerva to Athena and you wouldn't have to essentially rewrite the bio from the harsh Roman aspect. Just make sure that he is claimed by the time his age 13, and explain how he got to the Academy.
If you have any questions, PM and I'll help you as soon as I can.

Sorry. The app was from a previous site. I'll change it now. Those are some really obvious mistakes, I should read it over. Sorry!
- Okay, edited, and looked at the other Roman apps. I like a challenge, so i'll stick with Minerva and change the app however you want me to. I thought that i'd try something similar to the four accepted Roman apps that I read before changing it completely if required. Basically, ill do whatever you want me to in terms of editing; but I thought that id try it this way first.
