Personality: Lenora is the type that tends to look on the sunny side of things simply because she has never been able to stand dwelling too much time on the ‘woe is me’ deal as she had done in the past. It had been a phase that she had pushed through during her physically awkward growing phase. It is her belief that things happen for a reason even though she may never know that reason. She also believes that most everything is connected in some form or fashion, thus she believes in fate quite fervently.
The bright sixteen year old loves to read and is an excellent artist. She loves it when she gets a new set of pencils or paints. She just can’t wait to try them out. She is also a fairly decent singer. Her range can go from alto to soprano (though maybe not as high as some sopranos). She is also a fast learner. She can mimic singers and when she plays the piano (she’s had lessons since she was five), she can play any tune she hears by ear or at the least figure it out quickly. She is shy though about her talent and therefore, not many people know about it (except for other demi gods as Apollo is her father!). On the rare occasion you will catch her singing if she thinks that no one is around. However, she will stop if she realizes someone is listening; even if they encourage her to continue.
Lenora is kind of shy at first. However, she has started to work on this and even has started to take a few risks on her own. This new development, however, has started almost solely due to the encouragement of her friends. Whenever she is with her friends, she feels like she can do anything. However, alone, she found herself quiet and shy. That is why she started working on becoming a bit more outgoing. After all, how are you supposed to experience life if you’re not willing to take a few risks? Besides, your friends may not always be there and there may come a time when she will need to take a risk or two to save a friend.
When I say that Nora is naive, I mean that she is naive about certain things. She is book smart (or rather, audio book smart!) and the closest to, well, sex or even much romance is through her friends and tmi from her mom. Though dyslexic, she loves to listen to stories on her ipod as she can be doing chores as she listens or whatever she likes. She’s quite clueless about the thing that seems to be on a bloke's mind 24/7. Poor Lenora pretty much has stuck to Romantic poetry, Shakespeare, Arthurian legends, some audio books from the fantasy genre, and Jane Austen (the stuff she has heard in class, at least, or through audiobooks if she can find them!). It is pretty safe to say that she's a girl with Romantic ideals though.
History: Virginia’s mother was a very exuberant young Southern gal. She came from a wealthy family and enjoyed the attention of men very much. She was twenty four when she met Apollo in a bar around campus at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She felt drawn to him. He was funny, handsome, and full of life. He made her feel like she was the center of his universe. They were happy together for a time. One by one, Virginia’s young callants got the hint and realized that she was actually serious about Apollo. She felt he was on the up and up..A rising star. They’d been exclusive for a month when two things happened: she found she was pregnant with his child and that there was more to him than she realized. He’d never actually come out and said he was a god. He realized that maybe that would damage her psyche..Or maybe he didn’t really want to deal with the hassle.
Either way, it was about this time that he started to be away more than usual. I mean sure, he had been away here and there for a week or two when they’d been dating, but then it became weeks. And then he was away for a whole month. Well, Virginia hadn’t been alone for a whole month before and well, she was feeling mighty lonely. So she leaned on one of the callants that hadn’t exactly taken a hint. She’d been stringing young Luke Kirkwood on for a good bit now. He’d been quite willing too to fill in the gap that Apollo had left behind. He didn’t know she was one and half months pregnant at this point (she was one of those types that didn’t get super big during those first two months of pregnancy). So, when she told him she was pregnant, he assumed it was his. He proposed on the spot, eyes wide with a bright future, never suspecting Virginia’s deception.
Apollo came back once after their engagement. He and Virginia spoke about the baby and its heritage. He told her that her child might have some difficulties in the years to come. And he gave her a card to call if she found she needed help with that. Now, was he mad that she’d not even waited for him to come back before falling into another man’s arms? Well, yes, but sad too. He knew what sort of person she was when they started dating, and that a wish to see her child and herself be able to come into a good life had driven many of her decisions. Didn’t mean that he had to like it. So, he let her be and only came back once to visit his baby girl when she was two, claiming to be a distant cousin in town for a few hours.
So Lenora Kirkwood grew up believing that Luke Kirkwood was her father. Funny thing was, she was very much like him in many ways and vastly different from her mother. Nora was more of an introvert than an extravert. She didn’t have her mother’s over the top exuberance, but was quiet and reserved. And even though she had ADHD, she found she was able to concentrate some if she was able to keep her hands busy with something. Her attention span wasn’t great, but that was to be expected. Luke’s work kept the family moving all over the place. He was a computer consultant for a number of firms. They’d call him if they had huge problems and hire him for a few months to a year at a time. Nora didn’t like the moving so much. She hated being the new kid. Her mother, on the other hand, loved it. And while they both enjoyed the part where they got to explore these new places, it didn’t always make up for the fact that she had never stayed in one place for more than a year since she was five years old.
Thing was though that they moved so much that Nora didn’t actually encounter her first monster until she was fourteen years old. Oh, she’d gotten glimpses here and there through the veil of something. She’d try to tell her mother or father, but they’d wave it off as something her over-active imagination had come up with. So when she’d first encountered a Cyclops on a field trip to the local art museum, she was just lucky that a faun had happened to be walking by when she’d needed his help most. It was a lunch break. Everyone was eating outside in the courtyard. Nora had been listening to an audio book while eating a PB & J in a secluded corner when a large Cyclops came charging up to her. It was lucky that she’d heard his roar over her book because if she hadn’t he would have flattened her! She dove off the side of the bench and rolled to stare flabbergasted at the Cyclops that was shaking off the remnants of the bench that she’d been sitting on. He was just getting ready for another charge when she got up and ran. She was screaming and running and she could smell and hear him getting closer. He was just about to grab her when a boy came..clip-clopping behind and bleated at the Cyclops, getting his attention. That’s when some random girl came sneaking up behind the Cyclops. So, while his attention was on the ‘yummy goat man’, she swept in and stabbed him in the side with a knife. The Cyclops grabbed the blade out of his side and flung it away, sending it skittering across the floor towards..Nora. Nora picked it up and ran and jumped onto a ledge and leapt onto the Cyclops’ back, the knife going into his right shoulder and sticking good as she held on for dear life. The other girl took another knife out of her boot and threw the knife at the Cyclops’s eye. The knife hit home and the Cyclops let out a roar of anger and pain. The girl then got another knife out of her other boot and while he was clutching his eye, she drove that one into his heart. The Cyclops went down like a bag of potatoes…Unfortunately, Nora was still on his back as he went down face first. So, she went down on top of his quickly dissolving body.
Shocked, Nora scrambled away from the pile of particles that had been the Cyclops. It was then that the faun and the girl introduced themselves, telling her about why she was attacked, The Wolf House, and several other things. They answered the questions she had to the best of their knowledge and agreed to escort her back to the place they’d been renting for the past two years there in Savannah, Georgia. They convinced her parents that she’d been selected for admissions to an exclusive boarding school. Luke had been skeptical at first, but Virginia just accepted the pamphlets and information they provided at face value. “There’s a video and everything, dear..It must be real,” she told her husband. Funnily enough, she didn’t really make the connection between the Wolf House and the card that Apollo had given her. All she heard was exclusive boarding school and her mind lit up with images of uniforms, higher educations, and opportunities for Nora. Luke agreed to send her to the Wolf House in the end without too much of a fuss. Even though he’d not really had much time for Nora up until now, he still liked know that she was around.
Nora went through the quest to find the Wolf House. She was claimed that first day by the Roman god, Apollo. It was nice actually. She’d always thought that Apollo and Diana were the coolest in Roman mythology. So, she was really glad that he was her father. She was there when they decided to consolidate the Greek and Roman facilities. And so it came to be that Nora started attending The Wolf House. Those first years flew by and while she’s still shy as all get out, she feels that this year, her junior year, will be the year that she will come out of her shell and shine. She’d been pretty awkward and not very confident those first two years at Wolf House. However, her confidence began growing as her skills have. She’s great at archery and has managed to do well in her classes. She still has problem areas in the chariot races and in sword play, but she’s a hard worker and she’s willing to accept help. Yep, this year, she aims to come out of that shell of her’s and shine.
Abilities: Nora can sing and play any song she hears by ear. She’s able to play guitar quite well, pretty much without thinking. Writing songs comes quite easily to her, but she’s shy about it. She doesn’t really show off her musical talents to just anybody. She also is a killer shot with a bow thanks to Daddy Dearest. Weaknesses: Nora doesn’t speak as well as she wishes. She finds it easier to find her voice while writing and isn’t always able to articulate a newly formed idea very well until later. She tends to stutter when nervous (i.e. most often with boys!) and isn’t always the best at sword play. She prefers knives to swords and a bow and arrow to a knife. Other Information: She has a bow with carvings of the sun along its length from Apollo and an assisted opening knife that she found in the weapons arsenal that she has tucked into her pocket at all times.

Nora was a bit nervous. She hadn't really seen much of Nate since her birthday party. Partly, it was because of the end of school exams and partly it was because of their year and house difference. Oh, and the fact that she was dating Quin. She had felt bad about how things had gone down at her birthday soiree. The fight had been bad enough and then the whole mutual avoidance deal between Nora and Nate had been a bit sad. It hadn't been the best of ways to end the year and she didn't want to spend her last year of Hogwarts avoiding Nate in the halls. So, she'd decided to make amends with him.
She'd wanted to congratulate him actually for his appointment as Teacher's Assistant in Astronomy. Lenora knew that he'd been wanting that job for a while and that this would be his first step towards starting his own teaching career. The Ravenclaw beauty had looked all over Diagon Alley for a gift to commemorate Nathan's appointment as PA. Eventually, she'd found the perfect gift in an out of the way shop of Curious Objects. It was a small globe that, when an incantation was said, was charmed to project the night sky wherever one might be. Night, day, or on a train, it would project the constellations so close that you could touch each one if you liked. The globe was small enough to fit into one's pocket and had come with a list of commands so that one could simply view the night sky in one's room or view the individual planets up close if they liked and all other sort of fantastic things. It had cost Nora a pretty penny, but she'd saved enough to get it.
Now, standing in the street just outside Nathan's flat, she was feeling that familiar butterflies in one's stomach deal that she'd felt so many times before when she'd been around him. It was silly really. She had changed so much over the past year, yet she still felt nervous whenever she was near this older bloke. She couldn't explain why either. Perhaps it was his rakish good looks or his smile.
Sure, Nora and Quin had dated a lot towards the end of their sixth year, but when it had come to the first few weeks of summer, they'd realized how far apart they'd be. Each one hadn't wanted to really hold the other back as the summer had progressed. They'd each had a full plate for their summer. Nora had started her summer internship at St. Mungo's in their Spell Damage Ward. Thankfully someone else made the potions for them, but Nora had made a special note to make sure she did better this year in Potions. Above Average would be nice, in fact.
She was digressing though. Nora knew she'd have to decide about her feelings in regards to Quin and Nate sooner or later. This summer was halfway through, but that half-way point had gotten there fast. Faster than fast. With Quin, she felt anything was possible. She could dance on air with him. With Nathan, she could see a future though. Actually, she felt that Nate was a more grounded and mature Quin. If that made any sense. Her feelings were a bit..confusing to say the least. She felt as though she were precariously balanced on the edge of a cliff. On the one side was Quin. He was the known and her past or rather her connection to it. On the other side was Nathan, representing the unknown and the future as well. Each one was holding out a hand to her. Nathan was patient while Quin was eager. All that she had to do was decide if she wanted to jump into the arms of her future or cling to her past with all her might.
After what seemed like an age, Nora gathered her courage and walked to the buzzers next to each apartment number with the residence's last name printed beside the number. After checking her appearance for the upteenth time (which was a bright red and white polka-dotted day dress that came down to just below her knees with a flared skirt, matching red heels, and with her hair half up and half down with the slightest of curls), she pressed the buzzer and spoke into the box as she'd seen so many muggles do when a nice old lady came up to the door, struggling with her groceries.
"Oh! Let me get those for ye, m'am," she said, her Scots-Irish lilt lending a sense of musicality to her voice as she reached over and caught a bag that had just slipped a hair from the old woman's grasp. "Oh, oh my! Thank you dearie, If that had dropped, then I would have bruised my tomatoes," said the kindly old lady as she squinted over at Nora, coming in a bit close to, presumably, get a better look at Miss Warbeck. "I don't think I've seen you about the building, Miss ..?," asked the old woman. "Miss Warbeck. Lenora Warbeck," she said as she took another bag from the woman, "And I'm actually visiting a friend who lives here. A Nathaniel Diggory?" It was then that the old woman (a Mrs. Faversham) went into how much of a nice lad Nathan was and how he was always helping her with groceries or with repairs and some odds and ends. "Such a nice boy that young Mr. Diggory," she said as they moved through the entrance hall and up the stairs, "He lives right next door to me, actually. Now, you wouldn't by chance be keen on him, now would you? A nice girl like you?"
"Ah--erm," started Nora. It was then that the lady gave her a knowing smile just as the poor lass had started to get beet red. The old woman leaned in then and whispered to her. "Don't worry, I won't tell him. Your secret's safe with me, dearie--Ah! Here we are! This is my flat. You can put those down here. I can take it from here," said Mrs. Faversham as they came to her apartment. Nora insisted on bringing in the groceries the rest of the way though. She was rewarded with a few chocolate chip cookies and a bit of advice. Lenora then went over to Nate's door and took a deep breath before knocking on his flat door.

Alright, great bio, lengthy but very insightful to your character. She definitely sounds like an awesome character. Before I accept it thought, I need you to change one thing:
-The roman camp is not called "Half Blood Academy" but "The wolf house" and coordinator is "Lupa" if you want to add that in.
