Getting double detention was always entertain, at least for someone. The former acting deputy headmistress, Thetis, had taken particular pleasure in assigning Jesse detention, on top of his current suspension from Capture the Flag given by Pontos. Apparently some girl had gone running to Thetis, one of her own daughters in fact, claiming that Jesse had gotten her pregnant, which of course was possible, but not at all true. Jesse partied a lot, some of his best friends were Dionysus' hard partying kids, so at times it was hard to remember who he had been with, and who he hadn't, not that it normally mattered to him. Most of the time his...partners, would make themselves known by either dogging his every step proclaiming their undying love, or, they would slap him across the face swearing their hatred for him and throwing curses his way.
This chick had done neither, just running to her mommy crying that the big bad titan boy had taken her innocence. Jesse couldn't help but snort at that thought. If he remembered correctly, which wasn't completely impossible, that girl had been the one all over him, from the moment he walked into the house. Talking about how big and strong he was, and how they would make beautiful babies together...that should have been the tip off to RUN AWAY. But he had probably been drinking since breakfast, so the reaction time was probably pretty slow. Whatever the case had actually been, Thetis had taken it as a personal insult and was punishing him for "Conduct unbecoming a demi- god titan," and had ordered him to scrub the Great Hall in its entirety all by himself, and was expressly forbidden from flooding the place and washing it that way.
Fresh water was fresh water to Jesse. He held out his hand and tugged soapy fresh water across the marble floor, scrub brushes coming along for the ride. It was always fun to do that, it wasn't expressly breaking the rules, it was more bending them a bit, leaving them open to interpretation. He was careful to stay within arms reach of the scrub brushes and buckets of soapy water, just in case Thetis decided to check up on him, the last thing he wanted right now was triple detention. Then again, this wasn't so bad, he was alone with lots of fresh water to keep him company, then he got an idea, he summoned large amounts of water to him. This was going to be tricky, but it might prove fun and useful later on. He began to will the water to take on a vaguely human shape, he couldn't get it to stay on one gender or the other, which suited him just fine, he began to make it flow back and forth between male and female grinning with satisfaction.
"Welllick my nostril there gorgeous," he remarked huskily smirking at his cleverness. Only to be shocked out of his happy place as a door to the Great Hall opened with a bang. It was enough of a surprise to make him break his concentration and shatter his water-lover into a lake of water pooling around his feet.
"Uh...this isn't what it looks like..."

Freya had that bored and dry look about her face again. “I don’t even know why I agreed to this,” she grumbled to herself. Running around, doing errands for a couple of the teachers wasn’t exactly her idea of a great time, but she wasn’t going to be rude about it. Not too much at least. She agreed but didn’t bother to humor them by showing enthusiasm of any sort. She assumed they didn’t mind too much because she was at least helping out so they gave her a bit of freedom to do what she wanted. She wasn’t a student anymore and was only here because she had nothing else better to do, so just as well. The daughter of Alecto ignored everyone and anyone that came her way, listening to her music through her earphones, glancing down at the clipboard in her hand while she kept the other on the stem of thetwist my nippleslipop in her mouth. Her ice blue eyes lazily raked through the list of things she had left to do. A small smile surfaced on her lips when she saw that only one thing was left uncrossed. And that was to return a couple of books and scrolls back to the academy library.
She made her way towards the direction of the library, deciding to pass through the Administration Building because it was the fastest route from where she was. That and she’d rather not run ino another one of those insufferable demigods or whatevers running around. They were just so loud and arrogant and troublesome. None of them have really bothered the Fury child personally, but in general they were an aggravating lot to be around.
She leisurely made her way inside the building, her black heels clicking in precise beats with her music at every step. Freya perused through the other papers in her clipboard, heading towards the doorway that led to the Great Hall. She swung open the door leading to a loud hammering noise against the wall. She had not realized how hard she pushed nor really cared. It wasn’t until she heard the sounds of water making contact with the marble floor, did she stop in her tracks to look up from her papers. The daughter of Alecto raised a brow in irritation seeing some boy blocking her path, a large puddle of water at his feet, and spreading outwards. She took note of the bucket of soapy water and the brushes on the floor and understood. The kid was cleaning as some sort of punishment. Freya assumed this was the same kid she had caught wind about from various teachers at the academy about that had supposedly gotten another student pregnant.
She always scoffed at the idiocy of the students here at Half-Blood Academy. It was amazing how much one could find something wrong with this place, everywhere they looked. Freya merely pretended the kid saw a ghost and pissed himself or something. Either way she paid little attention to him. She rolled her eyes at his comment then looked over herself, making sure there were no water spots on her choice of attire; a pair of skinny jeans, a white top, and black blazer. She made it a habit to be clean and organized at all times. Satisfied that she was indeed dry, she didn’t bother to give the student another glance, and briskly walked past him and away from the wet marble floor without saying a word. ---

"This chick is cold," Jesse thought as forced the water around him to pour itself back in the bucket leaving him and the floor bone dry. He was pretty sure he had seen her in his classes last year when they had both been seniors, but now she was some kind of office assistant, and he was pretty much a frat boy with nothing better to do than hang around the Academy and cause some trouble. But the look she gave him, it was like he was a rat or a roach or something that had just crossed her path, and she could easily crush him without so much as a second thought, and that kinda turned him on.
She was a challenge, something he hadn't had for a long time. By now most of the students at the Academy knew that if they needed a boy to warm their beds for a night, Jesse was always more than willing to oblige, he was even less picky about his bed mates than the Hephaestus boy Leeland was, which both worked in Jesse's favor and against him.
But this one, was super model quality, and she wanted to pretend he didn't exist...what better way to draw him towards her?
"So yeah that wasn't the greatest of first impression back there," he commented trotting up along side her. "It's a good thing that first impressions aren't the only impressions one has at their disposal to cast with which to cast judgment." he commented nonchalantly, doing his best to tone down his thick Aussie accent.
"Perhaps I can be of, ahem, service." He spoke with the very ghost of a smile playing at his lips. "I'm Jesse, son of Oceanus, and I am ready willing and able to assist you in any way shape or form you require, Miss?" he stuck with the formal attitude, playing off her present prim and proper, or was it snobbish, attitude, whatever it was, he liked it. It almost reminded him of an old girl friend he had had, they had fought like cats and dogs, but they had screwed like rabbits, so it had been a pretty good relationship as far as Jesse was concerned.
"Well Freya, I may call you Freya mayn't I?" a small voice in his head was rolling on the floor laughing at who stupid Jesse was sounding in his pantomime posh attitudes. "Don't believe all of the rumors you have heard about me. I am not a complete animal, unless of course there's a call for it," he offered with a grin.

Freya grimaced, trying very hard to ignore the kid, who had decided to do the exact opposite of what she was hinting at. She picked up her pace, even turning up her music to try and block out whatever the boy was saying, which seemed to be a lot because from her peripheral vision, his mouth would not stop moving for one second. However, he seemed to be very insistent on making conversation with her all the while somehow keeping pace with her, much to her chagrin. Her legs suddenly stopped moving when she heard him call her by her name, despite the high volume of her music blaring in her ears. Her pearly white teeth had bitten down so hard, it shattered thetwist my nippleslipop in her mouth. Freya shot a look at the student, briefly wondering how he knew her name. She didn’t know the kid so how did he know her out of hundreds of students.
The daughter of Alecto removed the stem of the brokentwist my nippleslipop out of her mouth and scrutinized him briefly, only briefly. Another moment later she realized the boy’s familiar face in a class they had both enrolled in. Freya knew him mostly by reputation only, thankfully, as the promiscuous Jesse Monroe, son of Oceanus; the boy who would often steal a glance at her from across the classroom, thinking she wouldn’t notice. She inclined her head and smirked as her icy blue eyes met his aquamarines, removing one of the ear buds from her ear; the only act of courtesy she would allow him. “No. You may not,” she answered in reply to his question. “Why not take some responsibility and clean up these floors like you’re supposed,” she added snarkily. “That and take care of your bastard child instead of bothering me.”
Who did this kid think he was? She didn’t recall giving him permission to speak to her. She would have rather been in the company of her mother instead of the Oceanus boy; and Freya absolutely loathed Alecto. She respected herself too much to mingle with a being that was worth far less than the ground she stepped on.
“Best not to make a fool of yourself, Jesse,” Freya commented casually, but with an obvious edge. “Come within ten feet of me again, and I’ll be more than happy to arrange a meeting with you and the end of a blade. Get back to work, will you.” she called to him as she resumed walking, readjusting the ear bud back back into place and tossing thetwist my nippleslipop stem into a nearby trash bin. This was the only warning she would allow him. She wasn’t going to fall for his tricks. Whatever it was he did, she would have no part in it. Freya had more pressing matters to attend to that she had planned for the evening. More than half of the Academy could spread their legs or ass to the playboy for all she cared. She just needed to finish her last errand before preparing for tonight.

Jesse had to admit that the barbs this chick was throwing at him, had some sting to it. Not many people had the balls to openly challenge him like that. His prowess with, both spears he carried, the harpoon spear his father had given him, and the one attached to his nether regions, was well known. To have her acting like she could kick his ass without so much as a second thought, really rubbed him the wrong way.
Who was she to be telling him to get back to work, or implying that he would neglect any of his children, should that unfortunate even ever actually happen? She was just another one of those non-Olympians who jumped into bed with the Olympians as their lap dog. He was beginning to suspect that had he been alive during the Second Titan War, he probably would have sided with his father against the Olympians.
He frowned deeply knowing that it wasn't normal for him to think like this, normally all he cared about in the world was surfing, f*cking like bunnies, eating and sleeping, all the rest could kiss his ass for all he cared. But just now, the cold accusing tone stuck a nasty cord within him.
"And just where the f*ck do you get off threatening and ordering me around Princess?" He shot at Freya's direction. "What makes you so special?" his body unwillingly started marching in her direction.
"Tell me, how many quests have you been on? Where were you when the Academy was under attack? Oh that's right you were in your posh little office painting your nails and waiting for your masters to ask you to wipe their arses for them," Jesse was now standing toe to toe with her, his eyes drinking in exactly how beautiful and dangerous she was, which just seemed to add to the conflict of emotions in his head.
They held each other's eyes for a long moment, each staring the other down, neither willing to back down.
"Do you seriously believe that daughter of Thetis is pregnant?" He demanded. He knew for fact that she was not, and yet she had convinced her mother that she was. Or perhaps Thetis didn't really care whether he daughter was actually pregnant or not, but saw it as a golden opportunity to get Jesse.
"Well, she's not. No girl I have been with has gotten pregnant, thank you very much. She was just pissed off that it was a one time deal and went running to her mommy, who in turn decided, let's punish the Titan boy." his eyes were a little wild as he tried to figure out where all of this hostility was coming from.
"You know why they keep us down? You in that office running their little errands, and me scrubbing their floors over something I didn't actually do. Their frightened of us. They know that we are a threat to them if we ever truly rise up and realized or potential. They keep us under their yoke, so we don't follow Kronos' lead and rebel again..." He was a little puzzled as to where that thought had cropped up from, and to be honest it frightened him a bit. His best friends were demigods, some of his best lovers were demigods...so much of his life revolved around those Olympian demigods, and yet here he was openly advocating...rebellion? Treason? Revolution?

She didn’t understand why the kid was still talking but from the raised volume of Jesse’s voice and the rapidity of the words spewing from his mouth, it was obvious her words had gotten to him. But when he decided to vent out his bit of frustration on her, Freya decided she wasn’t going to let him off so easily. She rolled her eyes and stopped walking, irritably shutting off her music to avoid getting a headache, though she kept her back turned to him, waiting for him to finish. She cared very little as to what he was complaining about. That was until she heard that last bit, which did somewhat pique her interest. She unfolded her arm, and dropped her clipboard, a noisy clatter sounding through the hall. She stared at him, a light smile gracing her lips.
“Well, well, well. Looks like the dog has some bite to back up his bark.” Freya sneered, her English accent slightly pronounced. She had to admit, she was mildly amused. She casually walked over to him, that half-smile still present. Freya looked him over, her blue eyes examining him thoroughly from head to toe. Nothing really impressive, she thought to herself. Her eyes then caught Jesse’s and that smile on her lips faded just as quickly as it had appeared. If he was looking for a fight, she’d more than willingly play along.
“Are you done? Well first off, you are nothing to me. Why should I give a rat’s ass about some playboy punk who’s only reason for living is to f*ck everything in sight?” she tilted her head and slowly walked around him, circling him. “Second, as far as I’m concerned, quests have nothing to do with what we’re talking about. The same goes for the attack on the Academy. And the idiot Thetis girl? I don’t care if you have one kid by her or a hundred by many. You couldn’t possibly think you could get away with it forever, now did you?” she knew the rumor was false, but it did provide her with a bit of entertainment to see him get so defensive. She decided to play around for a bit. Why not? The boy deliberately sought her out and she would see that he was rewarded for his efforts.
She stopped behind him and leaned in close, her lips nearly brushing his ear. “But enough about that. Let me take the chance to make myself perfectly clear; I don’t give a sh*t about the Gods,” she whispered darkly, moving again and stopping at Jesse’s other ear. “I don’t give a f*ck about you Demigods, Demititans, and anything in between. I. Don’t. Care. For. Any. Of. That. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t really care for what happens to this Academy. I admit I’m somewhat fond of the place, but that doesn’t mean I’ll be stopping whatever I’m doing to save this goddamn place every time there’s an attack.”
Freya smirked, playfully brushing her fingertips along the Oceanus’ boy’s arm, feeling the coolness of his skin. She was having too much fun messing with the boy’s head. “I’m no pet of the Academy staff. I’m sure you realize that already. I’m not a fool.” she stepped away from him, walked, then stopped moving once she stood in front of him again. “I know you aren’t either. At least not so much,” she chuckled. “If you’re bright enough to be planning a mutiny, you have to have at least some brains. Oh, don’t give me that nasty look. I won’t go running to the teachers to tell on you. In fact, I encourage you to go along with your little plan. I’d very much like to see how far you and your friends will take this…rebellion.”
Freya was indeed eager to see how this will play out. She had no interest in partaking…unless it benefited her in some way. She smiled at him, almost pleasantly, but the deadly gleam in her eyes showed anything but. “So do we have everything all straightened out? Or do you have something else you’d like to get in my face about.” she asked, brow raised, awaiting a reply. If the boy had been trying to upset her in any way, it failed miserably. The only purpose this was serving her was a way to pass the time.
