When Andee had awoken that morning, the first thing she saw was Remus in her face. Wait, no. It wasn't Remus, though the wolf pup that was just inches from her face looked strikingly similar to Remus. Though Andee could see that this puppy's face was slightly slimmer, and his eyes were farther apart. Andee thought it was an illusion for a moment, though when she went to sit up in her bunk, the little pup had put his front paws onto the edge of the bed, turtleing his head slightly at her.
"Aww!" she finally screeched, picking up the little wolf pup, and pulling it into her lap. "Well hi there, little guy, who are you?" Andee had paused for a moment to hear his response, then she cracked a smile. "Romulus...Romulus and Remus. That's ironic." she let out a small giggle, then rested her hands in his soft fur. Then she felt the note stuck between his collar. Curiously, she pulled it out, unrolled it, scanned it...then her head snapped to Nicky's bunk. Remus was present, but her twin was gone.
Andee was up in a second, Romulus trotting behind her as she neared his bunk, the note still in her hand. His bed was somewhat made, and Remus was sprawled out in the center of the bed, sleeping. The note said he would be safe, the note said it was from her father. The note said Nicky was going to be gone for a long, long time. Andee didn't know what to do, what to say. Her brother, her twin, he was gone, like he was never there in the first place, leaving only Remus and a note. The thing she hated the most was that she didn't even get to tell him goodbye, that she loved him, and to keep out of trouble, like how she always told her brothers when camp ended for them. She felt hollow for some odd reason.
She sat down at Nicky's bunk, leaning down towards Remus and whispering his name, trying to wake the wolf pup. The puppy wanted to sleep, and was too tired to respond when she asked where Nicky was. She finally gave up, and flung the rest of her body onto the bed. She stared at the ceiling for a while, just letting everything process. "He's gone." It wasn't a question. Just those two simple words put together . It was the worst words she ever said to herself, ever heard. Eventually, she had sat up. "Well, guess I get to take care of both of you...it's just us and Caitlin now." She thanked her father it was a Saturday, she wanted to make this day be a day off where she could think. "Come on, you two," Andee said to the two wolf pups. "Lets go get some food."
Once she had gotten herself, Romulus, and Remus fed, she had come straight back to the Apollo dormitory. She had slid the note into her sock drawer, and settled herself onto the piano's bench. This is what she always did when she had a lot on her mind – play the piano, let her emotions pour out to her hands that would touch the right keys. She shut her eyes, set her hands in front of the piano, and lost herself as she emptied her everything to the black and white keys, all 88 of them. Little thoughts pondered through her mind, mostly questions that she ignored because she knew that she could not answer them.

Orion had proved to be a true friend, and every bit the man he was when they knew each other back at the Lotus, but he did seem a bit unnerved when Archer explained that he couldn't remember a thing before he showed up at the Hotel, out side of vague recollections of a camp of some sort.
The school they were at now, was very similar, only on a much larger scale, which archer somehow found comforting. Everything had a familiar, yet new feel to it, just like Archer felt about himself. For some reason, he had this nagging feeling that the gods had given him a second chance of some sort, essentially a new lease on life, and he was determined to enjoy it.
They stepped through the door to the Apollo House together Orion saying, "I'll have to talk with your brother Nicky and see about getting you some stage time--"
Archer frowned remembering the cute boy kissing his cheek, "I don't think you'll be seeing him any time soon..." Archer tried to focus and remember why they wouldn't be seeing the boy. "Dad's got him doing something...he was there when dad picked me up...I think, gods it's all a haze now, I'm getting a headache," He sat down heavily on the gold colored sofa in the common room, feeling sick to his stomach.
"You ok?" Orion asked slipping a comforting arm around Archer's shoulders.
"Yeah just feeling a little sick, it always gets this way when i try too hard to remember things, like that night we did our duet routine, something triggered that 'I should know this' reaction and I tried so hard to remember why that I--"
"Puked all over my Chanel dress, yes I remember,"
"Yeah...I still owe you a new one..."Archer said miserably trying so hard to make the sick feeling go away. He sort of fell over sideways so he was laying on the sofa trying to make the world stop spinning.
From out of nowhere came a sharp bark, then bundle of furry energy pounced on Archer, landing square on the boys stomach knocking the wind out of him, then assaulting him with wolfy kisses.
"Ouuuuuffffff! What the hell man? Alright! Alright enough you dozy dog, I give. I'm happy to see you too," he couldn't explain it, but the wolf's presence did seem to help, despite the extra weight flattening his inner organs. He reached up and scratched the wolf behind the ears and under the chin, only to come under another barrage of licks and kisses, he tail whipping back and for like a deadly weapon, more or less knocking Orion off the sofa.
"Hey now!" Orion croaked indignantly "Remus, that was down right rude! Oh hi Andee, meet your brother Edmund Archer," Archer flinched growling under his breath at Orion.
"You know better than to use that name, get him Remus," The wolf leaped off of Archer and pinned Orion on his back, licking the boy like there was no tomorrow.
"OK OK OK! Don't call him Ed or Edmund! Hell if I know why, or even if he knows why. Just don't do it, you might get wolf kissed to death or something," Archer smiled patting Remus on the head,
"Good boy Remus, you give that nasty dirty Hermes boy a good bath," with a weak smile he turned to Andee, "Just call me Archer,"

The young Apollo had not noticed the two boys come into the dormitory when they did. She felt like she was almost in a dream-state...that everything was a dream, and that the music she played wasn't her, but one of her ever-so-talented siblings. She would just wake up, and everything would be alright. She'd run to Nicky, kiss his cheek, then tell him about the dream, like what she always did when she had freaky dreams. He would call it nonsense, that he would never leave her. Then, if it was the middle of the night, Andee would sleep with Nicky whether he liked it or not, and she had quickly learned that Remus kicked her out if he didn't have his space.
Yet when she heard the sharp bark of Remus, the fake reality that she had conjured up while she played had disappeared. Andee squeaked from surprise, hitting a couple of bad notes on the piano. Then she heard another bark, a more threatening one come from Romulus. Remus was already on one of the boys sitting on the couch and by the looks of it, Romulus was about to join him. "Romulus!" she exclaimed, stopping the wolf pup from mimicking his brother's actions. It was then that she realized that everything was real. Romulus had retreated back to her bunk, staring at the two boys that had intruded, possibly deciding whether they were going to be his lunch. Andee didn't know, she wasn't paying attention to what the wolf pup thought. Instead, she had turned her attention to the two boys.
She recognized the one immediately. It was none other than the lovely little Orion. Well...little would be a mistake, since he was much taller than her. Everyone was practically taller than her. He was the first one to notice her presence, and he had quickly introduced the boy that sat next to him. Andee had got off the piano bench, and made her way slowly over to the two boys. She covered her mouth as a small giggle slipped between her lips when Remus attacked Orion with a bunch of slobbery dog kisses. She returned the smile to her new-found brother, then sat down next to him. "Fair enough, just as long as you call me Andee. Otherwise I'll have Romulus gobble you up." she said, grinning. She didn't mean it of course...or did she?
Romulus, upon hearing his name, had came to Andee's side, glancing over at Archer before laying his head on Andee's lap. Andee absentmindedly scratched Romulus behind the ears as she gazed at her apparent brother. "So," she started, "You guys know each other?"

Archer couldn't help but smirk a little at the wolves' names, one would have though that the Apollo kids were children of his Roman Aspect Phoebus Apollo, instead of his Greek aspect.
"Sounds like a deal to me Andee," Archer offered his most disarming smile to the much younger girl, who looked so much like the boy he had met as he was leaving the Lotus...or had he imagined that? It was so hard to tell right now. He sat on the floor motioning for Remus to join him and help keep him grounded until the fog in his head cleared.
"Hmm? Sorry I'm still kind of out of it. But yeah I've known Orion, well pretty much as long as I can remember, then again that's not saying much since I can remember next to nothing right now. What I do know if we were at the Lotus Casino, and performed together. It might make that old man blush, but he's probably my best friend I have in the world..." rather than Orion blushing it was Archer blushing like a maiden on her wedding day. He hugged Remus close, not feeling at all ashamed.
"Sorry, things are a little, I don't know, weird...weirder or something, for me right now..." he rambled on a bit before looking a Andee strangely then asking, "You wouldn't happen to have any blank sheet music sheets I could use?" there was a strange ache in his arm, like someone was grabbing it and trying to make him write, but it felt perfectly natural to Archer, which puzzled him quite a bit. He took the paper and immediately began scribbling out musical notes all across the page. Before long he found that the music flowed from his pen even better when he didn't stop to think about it.
"So Jakey my man, you game for letting me join your little night club? I'm sh*t at washing dishes, and bathrooms, but I am the ultimate at making sure wall stay in the upright position," Archer chatted and wrote, swiftly filling up the page and moving on to a second. "Or you know I could always be your wardrobe assistant, like I was back at the Lotus..."
"Oh shut up," Orion said with sly grin. "Like I would leave my best friend out without a stage to show off on. You'll fill Nicky's slot as DJ until he gets back, and if you think you've got that marbles for it, you could possibly...you're probably not interested..."
If looks could kill, Orion would have been so beyond dead that he would have been buried before Gaia met Oranos.
"Jacob. Orion. Don't toy with me boy." Archer's voice made it deadly clear exactly how dangerous he could be if provoked too far.
Orion just grin and threw an arm around his friend. "I always have to get your goat Mr. Sensitive. I was going to say that you could share the spotlight with me. I have nightly shows at midnight. We could do a few together, hell I'll even let you have a couple of nights to yourself. Of course we'd have to work out all the details and such..."
Archer's draw dropped. It was more than he could have ever hoped for. He loved performing with a passion, and the chance to resurrect the Orion Archer Revue was a dream come true. "Jake..." Archer's voice was thick and low.
"Looks like you've finished your piece, give us a look," Orion picked up the sheet music, looked it over with an odd look on his face.
"What's wrong?" Archer grew anxious again, hugging Remus close.
"Nothing at all. Well, it just seems that Nicky passed along a musical...uh...message or something, through you. Hell if I know how that could happen. Maybe it's something from your dad, from Nicky, or you know, something equally confusing." he handed it back to Archer.
Archer looked it over reading the by-line "Cyrus Nicolai Wolf." The he noticed the title of the piece for the first time. "Brothers and Sisters of the Sun and Song," Archer blinked utterly confused.
"Uh, Andee...maybe you should play this..."

Andee stared at her brother for a while, just listening to him talk. He, like most of her siblings, herself included, had a melodic voice, though Andee generally wasn't drawn in by her siblings' voices, yet she kept finding herself listening to his voice instead of the words he was saying. She tried to copy the look that he gave her, yet she seemed to fail. Andee obliged when he asked for sheet music, running to grab some from within the piano bench.
Archer had immediately started scribbling down notes, symbols, everything of the kind once she had got the sheet music. Andee had plopped down next to him and, watched him write. She silently thought of how the notes sounded, putting them altogether. She didn't pay attention to the two boys talking, but she continued scratching Romulus' ears. Which brought her to another good question that Archer probably couldn't answer -- how did he know Remus' name?
When he finally stopped writing, Andee glanced up at the two boys again, listening in on their conversation. "You like singing?" she asked, grinning at Archer. She had a slight feeling that maybe everything wasn't going to be as bad as she had first made it out to be. Though she couldn't help but wonder why she lost a brother, and gained another one in his place. She forced herself not to think that, because nothing in the whole entire world, universe and beyond would ever replace her twin. Things could never be the same as long as he was gone.
Then...Orion said the name. His name. There was a bit of confusion, though Andee was able to hear telepathy. Archer then read his full name out. "What the hell?" she said, snatching the music from his hands to see it for herself. "What's going on here?" Surely the boys had to have more of an idea than she did, after all, they had both been around crazy stuff more than she did. What she didn't know though, is that they were both as clueless at everything as much as she was.
She scanned over the music, looking over the notes again, then saw Nicky's name up there. The name that he despised. Andee never knew why, since nobody probably mispronounced it. She randomly decided to think about asking him when he came back. IF he came back. If. Andee always hated the word. It was just so negative. She stood up, made her way over to the piano with a couple of light steps, then had settled on the hard piano bench, the sheet music sprawled out in front of her, though Andee already had the notes etched in her mind, something that didn't occur often. Andee adjusted her fingers for a moment, glanced once again at the sheet music, then had begun to play.
It was a beautiful piece, and Andee felt herself become more peaceful as she got father into the song. It felt comforting, almost like how she felt when Nicky was hugging her and telling her everything was going to be alright, like how he did when Andee went into one of her worrisome fits. It was almost like he was there again. She continued on and on, feeling a familiar sense with the song. Like that feeling you get when your home. The sense of safety, familiarity. If Nicky created this, she had to say, he really went all out with the song. It was really a marvelous piece.
Eventually she had gotten to this one part that just sounded more familiar than the rest. Though she couldn't put her finger on it though. Andee didn't know what it was, be it the tempo and rhythm of the song, or the chords and notes her fingers played, but it was then, right them, that she understood the song. She stopped right in the middle of the song. "Oh my gods." she whispered, glancing up at Archer and Orion. "The song. It's about us, Apollo's children, each with a theme, and the harmony is our father. That's why it sounds so comforting."
Andee paused only for a moment to look over the piece, smiling gently. Surely Nicky would be able to play it better than her. She was going to make him play it for her someday. She'd probably get the full on effect if the composer played it. "I don't know if you wrote it, or if Nicky did, but let me be the first to say that the whole idea is the most epic idea I've ever heard of. It's so original!" she grinned at the two boys before going back to playing small little parts once again.

The music was hauntingly familiar, which was unsettling, yet comforting in a strange way. He almost felt a little high, but then again he always felt high when he listened to music. It was almost like his own personal drug. Now with Andee stopping, he started twitching and fidgeting, it was like his ADHD had slipped into high gear and he just couldn't sit still. He stood up walking over to the musical instruments with a purpose, he had to make the music continue. He froze on the spot, and for a slit second he saw himself opening a night stand and taking out a notebook of some sort.
As soon as the vision had passed he found himself opening the nightstand and taking out a musical scoring notebook, Nicky's name was hand written on the front, and inside was the full score of the song Archer had just given Andee.
Gee thanks dad, i always love when you give me little glimpses into the future like that he thought, rolling his eyes and grabbing a guitar as he went back into the common room.
"I found the full score," he explained bluntly, as he leafed through the pages searching for his own name, he wasn't sure why he was even looking, only Apollo and Orion had known of his existence before this morning. But then again, Apollo and the Muses got along really well, who knows, maybe one of the Muses inspired Nicky to write out Archer's theme along with the others. Unsurprisingly, he found himself empty handed.
"Hey Andee, play your piece again," as soon as she started playing, Archer's guitar started to sing out in harmony. he closed his eyes, and visualized the notes dancing in front of his eyes. There was that blessed high he was looking for, his fingers dancing over the strings, his own theme pouring out with flood of high energy sounds. He kept pace with Andee, but soon his theme became more erratic, starting and stopping, one minute full of energy, the next dragging the bassline, but never breaking the harmony, never straying too far from the overall theme of the piece.
He could feel Orion's eyes on him as he and Andee slowly stopped playing.
"I've got to say...that was something else. A little mad, but brilliant none the less." He paused looking at his wrist watch, "Damn, I'm running late, I'll catch you guys later. Oh and Archer, drop by the Club later, and we'll get everything settled," With that Orion was gone, leaving just Archer, Andee and the pair of wolves to fill the void. It was an awkward silence, neither really sure what to say to the other, so Archer started to strum the guitar listlessly.
"Soooooo, what brought you here?" he asked feeling like a grade A idiot for asking. "I mean, why here and not Camp, or something..." it hadn't helped as much as he had hoped, but with lucky Andee would understand him and not look like a complete fool.

Andee watched her brother get up, then disappear suddenly, leaving the commons before she could so much as bat an eyelash. She glanced back down at the piano keys, then the music, then Orion, and then the figure that had came back into the commons, holding what Andee always called "Nicky's Magical Notebook" since it held such beautiful pieces inside it, so beautiful that it was almost magical. Nicky really was a music genius, no doubt about it.
Though before Andee could even ask what he was doing with it, she stopped herself. Nicky really must have been in a rush, if he left his magical notebook back home. Archer had spoken, saying he found the full score. He asked for her to play her piece again. Andee quickly responded, flicking the page back over to where her part of the piece started. She whispered the beats before starting to play, and then she heard a guitar join in. She knew it was Archer immediately.
She continued to play her piece, though she tried to listen in on Archer's playing as well. He was good, being able to keep up with Andee's rapid playing. He was following in perfect harmony, and it was simply brilliant. When the song finally finished, Andee still pressing her fingers to the keys. Orion always made Andee grin, how he was always running around, running late. It just seemingly met him.
Once Orion had left, leaving Andee and Archer alone, Andee finally settled her hands into her lap, and glanced over at Archer, not entirely sure what to say. Andee wasn't quite ready to leave her spot at the piano, so she started to tap her fingers along the keys, barely making a sound. Luckily for her, Archer was the first to ask a question, and she knew it was probably a way to get to know her.
"Well, I lived in a small town for...well, practically my whole life. It's out in the middle of nowhere in Indiana. The town's small enough to just have an elementary school, a middle school, and a high school, so you pretty much know from the first day of kindergarten who you're best friend is, and who becomes your enemies. And just...yeah, I just got pretty much tired of being in such a small town, with the same people. I like to meet new people, probably less drama filled and not having that 'like-oh-em-gee-she's-trying-to-ruin-my-life' personality kind of thing. It gets tiring after a while. Besides, not having everybody in the freaking town, or in our case the academy, know that you screwed up, it's a pretty nice feeling. Not to mention, I get to see my siblings practically every day." she paused for just a moment to catch her breath. "SO. What about you, brother dear? What in the world brought you here?"

Things had not looked good for the future of demi-gods when Felix had left the Academy. Apparently there was a quest that went wrong and he couldn't tell if what they had set out to stop had been stopped or not. In addition to that Felix had to wonder if the new discovery and addition of the Roman demi-gods at the academy was a good thing. He had only catch a glimpse of them before the summer started and the unhappy expressions that he had seen on most of them didn't make Felix a very happy student too.
He would have stayed at the academy for the summer months if not for the fact that his uncle was finally getting married. The lucky lady was a good hearted, but rather conservative looking librarian so you could imagine how mismatched the pair looked walking down the aisle. Felix could admit that this was amusing but the most important thing was that she was understanding and kind and that she loved his uncle just as much as he loved her. Felix had been best man in that wedding, complete with speech. And then he couldn't go off back to the Academy as his uncle had wanted to try out being a family unit. The honeymoon had a plus one though Felix had had fun on the white beaches of Hawaii.
Now here he was, walking up to the Apollo residence with a conch shell between his hands. You couldn't go to Hawaii without getting some huge ass shell you could use as a paper weight and/or door stopper and he was sure Nicky would be amused at the commercial value of it. You could hang your toothbrushes off it too. Nifty! Balancing the shell on one hand, Felix gave the door of the Apollo residence three sharp knocks and then grew impatient and opened the door himself. He really hoped no one would mind that.
"Nicky? Guess who's back and bearing presents?" Felix called out as his eyes scanned the room. He saw Nicky's puppy and assumed that the boy himself couldn't be very far away.

There was that uncomfortable feeling again, as Andee asked about Archer's past. He knew he should have had one, but there was a nagging voice in his mind warning him against pushing it any further than that. Knowledge was power, and that knowledge was also very dangerous, not only for himself, but his family as well.
"Eh...uh...let's not talk about that..." he said nervously feeling an ache behind his eyes again. "I don't remember anything before being at the Lotus Hotel..." he started picking at his guitar strings absent mindedly not really making a tune. He looked up noticing that Remus was missing, he frowned confused by the wolf's absence, maybe he had more free reign that Archer had thought.
It took a moment to realize that Remus was barking happily at the front door a someone called
"Nicky? Guess who's back and bearing presents?" Archer flinched mentally, another of his brother's friends who didn't know that he was gone. Exchanged for Archer...
"In here," Archer called out in a broken voice listlessly plying at his guitar, shaking his head to clear it.
"Uh Hi there, I'm Archer, Nicky's brother...he's sort of out of touch right now...dad has Nicky doing something for him, and kinda sent me here in his place..." Archer explained somewhat sheepishly as Remus bounded around the new comer.
"You're more than welcome to join us..." he said awkwardly seeing the boy for the first time. "Gods he's cute...Nicky has good taste..." he thought checking him out without meaning to.
"So...uh yeah, you were on a trip or something?" He asked noting the large shell in the boy's hands. he kept playing lightly drawing some comfort from the music.

Andee stared long and hard at her brother, trying to figure out his past. She knew he wasn't lying...he really didn't know his past. She was good at guessing, yet even she couldn't figure out where he came from. Andee decided to respect his wished, and not bring it up again. "Well...alright. So, what was the Lotus like?" Truth be told, Andee was asking partly because she didn't want an awkward moment, but also partly because she wanted to know what it was like.
Remus and Romulus' barks had startled her, and Remus had already told Romulus that the boy in the doorway was safe. Romulus has got a lot to learn, she thought absentmindedly, then turning her attention to the person at the door. She immediately recognized the boy to be Felix Edan, Nicky's former boyfriend. At least, that's what Andee referred to him as. Andee bit her lip, knowing that Felix didn't know where Nicky went. She really didn't want to be the bearer of bad news.
The girl forced a smile to form on her face. "Felix, come on in." she said, patting to the spot next to her. Though before she could even begin to explain, Archer was already taking over, making her only nod in agreement with him. When Archer finished, Andee spoke up. "Pretty much what Archer said. Dad basically kidnapped Nicky, left a note saying he was fine so I wouldn't freak or something, left me Romulus," she paused, gesturing the second puppy that was sniffing out Felix. "And yeah. I don't know when he's coming back...if he comes back. Though I'm pretty sure he'll come back." That was Andee, trying to look at the bright side. She knew Nicky wouldn't part from her forever. Twins were supposed to stick by each others side, right?

Felix had fully expected Nicky to walk out from one of the rooms to greet him. It was this anticipation which caused him to ignore Remus when the dog came bounding towards him with happy barks. Felix would have continued giving Remus the silent treatment but the barks became more persistent Felix was a nice guy, even when his mind was focused on other things.
"Alright! Alright!" He laughed as he kneled, putting the shell by his feet. Reaching out Felix started to scratch Remus behind the ears and would have even gone so far as to start a wrestling match with him if he hadn't notice the other dog. "I'm seeing double?" He smirked at Remus. "Or are you a big brother now?" Yes he was talking to the dogs and no Felix was not fussed that he did not speak their language. Nicky would translate for him later. Speaking of which, Felix felt his eyebrows knit together as he heard an unfamiliar voice call out from somewhere in the house. But it was the start of the school year and it was logical that there would be a new set of demi gods coming in. Giving Remus one last pet on the head, Felix grabbed his shell and headed off towards the direction of the voice.
He paused at the door a little, proving himself right as he looked at the new boy playing the guitar. "Hey." But that didn't mean he couldn't be friendly though the smile on his face wavered significantly when it was explained that Nicky was not at the academy and was off somewhere doing something for Apollo. It was no doubt important, but there was only one thought running though Felix's mind at that moment. 'Why wasn't I told?'. It would have been nice to be in the loop seeing that him and Nicky were...
"I'm sure he'll come back." Felix said, pushing those thoughts aside and giving a nod to Andee. "I cant' see Nicky letting something get in the way of being with his family." He hoped the smile on his face was comforting. Felix certainly didn't want to think about what he'd feel if Nicky never came back to the Academy.
"Oh yeah..My uncle got married." This was to answer Archer's question. Looking at the boy, Felix saw that he was referring to the shell in his hand. "In Hawaii...I just thought Nicky would like a shell so that he could listen to the sound of the sea. Though it's not really the sound of the sea that you hear it's the blood rushing through your head." He was rambling and it was clear that he was unhappy about this new development.
"Does anyone know where Nicky went and what's he supposed to do?" Felix asked this in as innocent a tone as he could manage, thinking that perhaps he could sort of by accident drop over to where Nicky was somehow.

The poorly concealed crestfallen look on Felix's face was enough to tell Archer, exactly how bad the news of Nicky's departure hit the boy. It was odd, given that this boy was clearly much older than Nicky was, or at least he assumed Nicky was. and the obvious connection the two had, was more than enough to make Archer feel a bit like a voyeur and an intruder to a world he didn't belong.
"Uh...as it so happens..." He looked to Andee sheepishly, he had only known her for a short time, and already he knew she wouldn't take this news well. "I do know where he is...I actually met him at the Lotus Casino, we sort of swapped places you might say...but I was under the impression that dad, that is to say Apollo, had a plan for Nicky. I don't think he was meant to stay there very long, just long enough for dad to get me out of there, before Nicky set about this mission, or whatever it was dad gave him..." Archer trailed off, his ears turning pink, as he guilt flooded him. He didn't want to be a "replacement" for his brother...he could never be that, gods, he didn't even really know he was anymore. An itchy tingle went up his forearm, almost as though it were a warning, "Don't think too much, it's bad for you," or something like that.
"He'll be fine, Apollo takes good care of his kids when he sends them on quests and stuff, I mean he even took revenge for our brother Aesculapius... I mean Asclepius. So I'm sure Nicky's in good hands..." He began to pluck at his guitar strings again, the tune jerky and halting, matching his concerned thoughts.
"So, um, you and Nicky...you had...a thing?" He didn't know what else to do, small talk seemed to be the only way to ease the tension building in his mind, and indeed the room around them.

Again, Archer managed to beat Andee at talking. She didn't mind though, since he probably knew more about where Nicky went. And she was right, Archer had told them that he had seen him at the Lotus Casino. It almost worried her. She knew that she shouldn't be, but still, kinda hard to think that her twin didn't even know who she was right now, and was aging much, much more slowly, if even at all. Whereas she was getting older by each second that ticked by. She knew just by looking at Orion that time moves slowly there, while the outside world moves at normal speeds. Andee read somewhere about a twin paradox, which was for time travel, but if Nicky stayed in there for quite some time, he may come out at age 14 again, while Andee was probably 72 or something. And Andee didn't want to become 72 unless Nicky was 72 with her.
"...Well that's lovely." Andee finally spoke, scratching Romulus behind the ears. "Hopefully he'll be back soon..." she let her voice trail, thinking about how weird it would look if he was gone for a long time. "You sure we can't go like, get him or something?" Andee asked Archer, glancing over at her older brother. She made her way back over to the piano, letting her hands started to absentmindedly play a part of the score again, yet she wasn't sure exactly who's part it was. She knew it wasn't her part, and that was pretty much all she knew.
Andee stopped, and sighed. "Is it bad I don't even want to play the piano?" she asked, glancing at the two boys. She tried to smile, yet even she could tell that her smile wasn't the normal one she usually held. She had a feeling that she wouldn't feel right until Nicky was back at the Academy.
