Personality: Enya is a very outgoing person, though ill-tempered at times, she has a good heart. Like her father, she is strong willed, filled with bravery and loyalty. She knows what’s best for herself and doesn't like to hear what some others have to say. When she feels strongly about something, she will show it with pride but be warned that she can be temperamental sometimes. Enya also isn't one to be messed with. She may look kind and thoughtful- not that she isn't, but she will burn you to a crisp in a heartbeat. Her moods are always very extreme, and sometimes fluctuate from one extreme to the other. For this, she was nicknamed Tinker Bell, or Tink for short. (Also cause she’s a tinker) She’s known for her craziness, and willingness to party and drink rum. But all n' all, she’s pretty mellow and will always have that side to her that can be shy and timid.
History: Enya never knew much about her father, if she thought about it, she didn’t know anything about him. Before she was born her mother (Valentina Valerious) had worked as a Doctor in the Dublin, Ireland hospital. She was always working long hours, helping patients left and right but was never given any time to rest. One evening, Valentina was given time to dose off; under the skies that were covered with a dark blue that alit the stars. The moon shone brighter then the sun gazing across her resting face. It would seem to be the most perfect of nights, when a man about her age strode in the hospital doors, awakening her. Standing up, she followed the man back into the hospital, watching the reactions of the people around them.
The people in the room gasped at his appearance as he walked to the front desk, he seemed to have a limp but stood tall and proud. A small feeling arose from Valentina, and before she knew it she was walking to his side. As their eyes met she sensed a feeling of welcome and curiosity overcome her. She brought him to her office and listened to him as he told her of an accident that occurred, creating his limp. She nodded and smiled at him as she tended to his wounds, talking to him about various details in everyday life. By the time she had finished, he had asked her to dinner. She thought of it as an odd gesture to date patients, but there was something about him that made her say yes.
They quickly fell in love after a few months; and Valentina had come with amazing news. She was pregnant. Hephaestus was saddened by this news but was grateful to be the father of a new baby. He told Valentina of what he was, the God of fire. But before she could protest, he showed her with a wave of his hand. Showing that Valentina couldn’t deny what she had seen. He told her of what he had to do, and with an everlasting goodbye kiss, he left to Olympus on the day Enya was born. His claim to Enya was proved by a birthmark, shown on her right wrist under her palm was the shape of a flame.
Enya was never told about her father until she turned ten. It was Father’s day and her nanny said she was to make crescents with her father’s name on them out of paper. She was always the oddball of the group of children the nanny seemed to bring over, and to her, she didn’t mind being alone. It was something she was used to. While the nannies paid attention to the disruptive children at the other tables, Enya was busy doing her own project. She was chiseling “Happy Father’s Day” with utensils she had found; into a piece of sheet metal she had pulled off the counter. But she couldn’t recall her fathers name, and fell silent when the Nanny asked her if she had known yet.
When she was finished she decided to bring it to her mother, surely she would know her fathers name! Walking through the halls of her rather large house, she couldn’t help but hear the sound of squeaking and creaking. Starting to get louder as she arrived in front of her mother’s room. Enya looked at the doorway, it had been dented in wards and the knob completely ripped off. Revealing large splinters that stood out of the door.
Enya peaked inside and was completely horrified by the sight; her mother was on the floor drenched in blood. With a large figure standing over her. Afraid to go into the bedroom, she rushed to the nannies side. Yelling and screaming for them to get out of the house. Once they were all safe in the car, the nanny took this time to tell Enya who she was, she told her of her father who was Hephaestus; God of Fire. She also told her of a Camp they were driving to, where she would be staying. It would keep her safe.
Once they arrived at the Camp, she gave big hugs to all her nannies; she found there was something keeping them outside, like a force field of some sort. Telling them she loved them, she let them go and started her new life as a Demigod of Haphaestus.
But as she grew older amongst the other demigods, she started to feel trapped and insecure. Like a bird stuck in a cage amongst people it hated. Her favorite brother had left Camp, along with all her friends. To where she didn’t know, but a voice deep within her thoughts whispered to her to go to the office at camp. Walking into the huge building, she turned a few corners before running into one of the Satyr’s. He was old and wrinkly with eyes the size of walnuts looking at her like she was gonna eat him. “M-Miss Valerious.. th-this is for you-u.’’ she heard him stutter, breaking her name in odd parts as he handed her a letter addressed to the same name.
Using a manicured yet-slightly-covered-in-soot finger, she slid it between the envelope folds, yanked it open and took out the letter in one swift motion. Unfolding the neat piece of paper, she started to read the beautiful script that was scrawled across the page.
It read; “Dear Ms. Enya Valerious, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Half-Blood Academy, You are required to be at the Door Step at approximately 5:00 pm this evening, if failed to succeed, you will be permitted to stay outside Half-Blood walls.

Thank you and have a Nice day,

Looking at the clock, it read 4:30 pm, which most campers would probably freak out about. But Enya just snickered and nodded to the Satyr in a thank you before ‘flittering’ out of the building and to her cabin. She packed her bags with everything she owned, leaving a note on her pillow for her half siblings with love before walking out the door. Enya held tightly to all her belongings, closing her eyes as she centered herself and thought of the destination and address she had been given. She could feel the tingling sensation tease from her head all the way down to her toes before finally disappearing. A swarm of fire burning amber ashes swirled around her, teasing at her hair and skin until it became everything she was. Flying into the currents of the air as it shot out North, the only thing on her mind was the place she was to be and smiled about five minutes later when she reassembled herself at the doorstep of Half-Blood Academy. Flying like that always reminded her of Scotty and Startreck. Or floating blossom leaves from the Nymphs outside of camp.
Stepping through the gates, she gave the man at the front door her name and parentage. He directed her to her dorm where she would start out her new life as a student, at Half-Blood Academy.
