Protuberant blue eyes scanned sheet music. Melody was never a good reader English-wise, and never preferred Greek either, though when it came to music, it was practically the only thing that Melody could read. To her, music was like a story. Different notes, different chords represented different things to make up the story. The certain piece she was playing, as she had learned after analyzing it for nearly an hour, was about a warrior going off to save his maiden from danger. And when played, that's what it exactly came out to sound like. The whole story within music thing sounded slightly insane, which was why only Paul knew about what Melody saw. Paul was the only one who knew everything about Melody Brielle Bowman. Speaking of which...
Melody glanced around the empty common area, wondering where in the world her twin brother had gone off to now. He couldn't have gone extremely far -- they did, after all have a school boundary that Melody tended to stay away from. After a moment of wonder, she finally shrugged, then returned to her sheet music.
The warrior's name? Tom. She wasn't quite sure as to why the composer had chosen such a name for him. It was quite bland and not heroic sounding at all. Mel decided not to question it, because it was not her music, thus not her story. She listed the fact that she had just found out on a sheet of paper, then went back to scanning the sheet music. The maiden's name, she had come to find out five minutes later, was Ella. Again, odd name, not extraordinary, but she didn't question it.
Another fifteen minutes passed before Mel had that small, annoying...thing in the back of her mind told her that she should go looking for Paul. Though he was older by four minutes, she still was fiercely protective of her older brother, and it did get annoying at points when she became a protective little sister. Melody arose from her spot on the couch, and stretched for a moment before glancing towards the window. She had been out here all morning, she would've seen Paul leave. Taking that as a start, she made her way down to Paul's dorm room.
