Another day found Riddle in another bout of Good Mood. She had been walking on sunshine lately, and probably stepping all over those mean mean cynics, and it was all thanks to her latest crush. "Morgan." She said out loud, looking at the dummy head that was currently next to her bowl of cereal. Riddle was a very early raiser, especially when there was stalking to do, and she was currently one of the few people inside the dining pavilion. This only made her, and the fact that she was currently talking to a dummy head, more visible and soon some of the other demi gods, demi titans and half monsters, who were having breakfast around her were laughing behind their hands.
As always Riddle paid no attention to them. The laughter never lasted very long and in her experience people always found some other thing to laugh at. She simply gave a bright smile to the dummy, who looked at her blankly in return and said, "I think a quick stop to the residence will do us some good." Her voice was happy and upbeat, it seemed sad that she was talking to a severed dummy head. "I have some extra rolls of film I want to pick up and some sun screen too. No use ending up looking like a lobster when the day is done. And who knows maybe he might need some too." Riddle was smiling all over again at the thought of actually holding another conversation with Morgan..the person, not the dummy.
Finishing up her food, Riddle deposited her tray and empty plates before skipping out of the dining pavilion. Morgan the dummy head was securely under her arm and she was making good progress when something diverted her from her path to the Janus residence. Riddle had decided to take a short cut, and that involved taking a route that would lead her past the back of the dining pavillion. It was the sight of a very colorful van that had her stopping in her tracks. What was that doing here? Could it be? Riddle stood there and squinted into space for several seconds before she remember that she had her binoculars with her. Bringing them to her eyes, she let out a soft gasp when she read the words stenciled into the side of the truck.
Ice cream! Who in the world had thought to bring such a thing to Academy? They should be kissed! Almost everyone was hyper active around here and bringing in this much sugar was just an accident waiting to happen. But it only meant that she should hurry and get a few scoops for herself before the faculty discovered that such a slip had happened. Letting the binoculars hang loose around her neck again, Riddle made her way towards the truck. She attempted to be sneaky about it, but ended up just looking silly. The back doors of the truck was locked but that was nothing for a daughter of Janus. Getting a good grip on the handle she concentrated and pushed, smiling widely when the doors came open under her hand. Looking around, Riddle stepped inside and let of a squeal as she took a peek inside on the many freezers. This was certainly going to be fun. She had to wonder though, what Morgan's favorite flavor of ice cream was. She now wished that she had found out because she would not hesitate to share all of this with him.
