The first thing Krysta noticed when she got to the Acadamy was the beach, it was somthing that she loved going to when she was little. As she walked down to the beach area, she took off her shoes so her feet could feel the sand and squish her toes into it, as she walked she could smell the salt coming off the wind from the ocean. Hearing the ocean slam onto the sand and then go back out was music to her ears, she slowed her breathing to it and closed her eyes for a minute. She imagined that she was the wind carrying her across the waves, seeing the dolphins and nymphs swimming and playing. She opened her eyes and smiled looking down, her feet were levitating off the ground, she noticed because she couldn't feel the sand on her feet.
Letting herself back down to earth, she walked down towards the water and set down her big purse that could fit anything in, her mother had got it for her just before she left for the acadamy. Hecate sure did have style when she gave her the gift, it was a big silver hand bag that had her own little brand on it, it was the only kind she ever made, at least that's what her mother informed her of. Setting her shoes next to her bag, she walked down to the waves and stuck her feet into it, the water was very cold but with the heat, they accented together perfectly. The waves crashed and splashed droplets of water onto her tan skin and it gave her the chills, she looked out and could see the tailfins of whales raise up and splash the water. Her father had always told her that they were wavinglick my nostril to the children of earth, so Krysta waved back.
Krysta smiled and walked back up to where her stuff were and sat down, she felt the warm sand and the wetness of her legs in the sand making it stick to her legs. She opened up her back and pulled out a spell book, another present that Lady Hecate had gotten her, but she was nine years old when she received this present, it was waiting under her Christmas tree for her to rip open when she and her father had gotten up that morning. Ever since then, Krysta has kept that book with her, she's tried just about every spell out of that book, some though she couldn't do or she'd blackout. So she put little stars next to those to remind her that she couldn't do those. As she opened up the book she heard a seagull squawk and fly by, the girl looked up and smiled, then back down to her book to read more of it while she listened to the waves. [/size]

Evan wasn't one for and decided to try a quietier revenue. He'd been told that beach was lovely and being a creature of water he couldn't resist. He didn't even notice the lady as he walked down the beach. He stopped and too a deep breath of the warm, salty air. This was nearly paradise. He stripped his shirt and dropped it to teh ground and slid his jeans and shoes off before bolting into the water. The water was freezing. He dove under and a second later came to the surface. The sun was at the perfect angle that it's rays caught the water in his hair and on his skin. He stood up and let a few waves wash over him, it felt great. He was still oblivious to the lady who was reading, but the more Evan played the less attention he payed to his abilities. Eventually the pools of water scattered across the beach began to form shapes and dance. Even the one near Krysta. Evan dove under the waves and the pools exploded, spraying water over everything near it. A few sunbathing girls squealed and gathered their stuff. Evan came to the surface again and took a deep breath, this was perfect. He turned and started swimming back to shore when he noticed Krysta and stopped dead. "Woah, who is that?" he mumbled to himself, watching her silently, ducking under a wave but keeping his eyes on her. He shifted and swam back away from shore. He'd be extremely embarassed if she saw him oggling her.
A small nymph popped up next to Krysta and leaned in towards her, "Hey. You know. Someone is watching you. He's kinda cute." with a giggle she stood up, took a few steps then vanished again.
Evan scowled when the nymph whispered to Krysta and his muscles tensed, "Tsk, nymphs. Great. sh*t-" he hissed and dove under the surface. He had a feeling he knew what she said, nymphs were notorious trouble makers, she'd probably tattled on him. He couldn't help it, she was beautiful and Evan had a horrible weakness for beauty.

Jacob Rinzler strolled onto the beach calmly, looking for something to do. Anything to make it look like he wasn't by the Aphrodite cabin. He spotted a Hecate girl by the beach, reading a book. A nymph came up to her, whispered something, and vanished.
A second later, he heard a splash and saw someone in the water disappear. Probably D.J or another Poseidon kid. he geussed. They're crazy about the ocean. He saw some rocks nearby and tried skipping them on the water, but to no avail.
This stinks, he thought. Why did I have to go and put frogs in the Aphrodite cabin's covers again? Rinzler knew his dad was the god of tricksters, but come on! He couldn't have one peaceful day? "Oh right, New Year's resolution. Play at least one prank every day. Smart move, Rinzler. Smart move." he muttered.
He STILL didn't know how he got drunk on that grape Gatorade, even though that was impossible. Then he realized who had poured it for him. Jake facepalmed and whispered to himself, "Oh, come on! How did I not realize?! Well, at least that explains my headache."
From now on, he would stay away from any purple liquid until he was in college. Rinzler was already thinking up a revenge plan when he fell into some sort of tiny sand hole and tripped. "Oh, son of a-" He amost chopped his tounge off as his teeth clattered together. Good thing he pulled it back into his mouth in time.
Dazed and in minor pain, Rinzler decided to do the most non-incriminating thing he could think of: Make a sand fort. To start, he went down and picked up handfuls of wet sand for the walls. He passed the Hecate girl on the way and flashed her an innocent grin as he went back.
Words: 330
Muse: Happy and mischeivious! ;D
